...I agree that Carl needs to be improved. Seeing he's in a section of the site that you need to /gain/ access to, it would be nice if he gave out nicer rewards. I always end up losing money to him, even as a weekend quest. It definitely made the Omen Islands a big disappointment for me when I got the map.
After so many times this quest being put as weekend quest it should have been fixed by now. Seriously, priorities?
It's not really fair for a weekend quest to be inaccessible to a large group of users, no matter how lame the quest is.
Had my hopes up for Wiz quests this weekend. But guess no Wiz..again. UGH. Please no lame quest next weekend.

I agree with Wolf_Spirit. Carl's quests are dreadful - the prizes need to be improved even when he isn't the weekend quest.
Unless there's some way of upping Carl's rewards up by 1000% then I personally feel he should just be taken off site XS Every time, or pretty much damn well close to it, you wind paying out more than you would EVER get back from him XS Quests are supposed to help you EARN money, not lose it XS
Honestly do not complain about these quests..but I always manage to loose when I do his. Bowing out this weekend
Oh man I only need 10k more tokens to have all I need to complete vending maniac! When I saw wiz I thought this would be my weekend! ONE DAY I WILL COMPLETE FOR CHEAP!
I agree with everyone, and I know it probably isn't that easy to fix, But I wish the double posting would stop. I'm not SO concerned though, because I know they are probably trying their hardest. I just wish that this quest was more...satisfying. As in, since it is a quest that only people who have obtained the map for, and the map is so expensive, it seems only fair that the quest would give out a better reward. :]

Well, I don't care much for Carl, and I am amused in a "this isn't really funny but it kind of is" way about the doubles every week/day. As much as I love Wizard's prizes and rewards, I'd really love to see the value of Wiz tokens go up a bit more to what they use to be. Use to make it more worth doing the quests regularly instead of only when they were "special". :)

I don't know why people are going crazy over the double quest thing. It really doesn't effect much considering it's not like one person just always overrides another.. it's still usually different every weekend. Besides I think it makes it more exciting.
Plus if it's taken this long for the staff to fix it, you can probably bet that the fix isn't as easy as some of you may think. They're usually pretty good at sorting out the bugs in a timely manner. I say, relax, take a breath and just go about your Subeta business.

Is Carl worth wasting your time on even WITH the increased rewards? I gave it another try and didn't see anything to make me think it was. :/

While it's true, the double/stolen quest issue is annoying, and Carl's rewards are....let's just say, what can we expect from a drunk? LOL It could be so much worse....you could be on that horrid yellow site, getting frozen or worse lmao I for one, love it here, even with the occasional issues :heart:
Actually collecting all the map pieces right would cost about 24mil. The Uncharted Land Map Piece #3 costs around 16 mil so I don't know if it's from rapid inflation or what but that makes that map out of reach for a lot of people.
ive figured that the wiz may be next week as last week it was first drunk carl then some thing else as with the week b4 that so hopefully the trend will continue and we will have tha wiz next week
I added up all the lowest prices for each piece and the entire map can be bought for about 1.6mil (if I added correctly) which isn't an extravagant or super hard to get amount of sP. I totally get that it feels unfair but idk... the map shouldn't be TOO easy to get and the quests should just be another incentive to try and get it. Plus it's true, Drunk Carl's quests are srsly not that great so you guys aren't missing out :c

Seriously, how many months has this glitch been happening? How many people have complained here and on the threads? And yet this still isn't fixed? This kind of makes me want to be really annoying and every time there is some kind of new cosmetic change, or anything else that requires coding I just want to say. 'Thats nice, now fix the f-ing WSQ if you have time for this crap!'

I just think we need more random events for these map pieces because last time I checked the map was expensive. I wouldn't mind it the map was cheaper and such but it's really expensive so I don't see myself ever completing the map and doing these WSQ'a
This is not fair to users who can't access the Islands yet. I think the staff should remove Carl's quests from the code, if possible.

yes boards have been made. i made one a while ago and was basically told 'we know this is an issue ' which, in subetan speak means it will get fixed after we run out of stupid cosmetic changes to make.

No...this is just wrong! I wish staff would get this problem with the double weekend quest hoster coming up every single Friday XS It's not fair. You see the Wiz, get all excited and then get hit with someone else...especially THIS damn drunkard XS He's not only the worst possible quest to do, even on the weekends, it's also unfair to users who can't access Omen Islands. I really wish Carl would be taken out of the mix completely XS

Gosh how can they fix the double quest code when they're spending so much time revamping the petpage 'and' making a new and improved quick stock 'and' autopricer ? God you guys are just so nitpicky, expecting constant issues and long standing problems to be resolved in a timely manner ? I mean, heavens, you can use three ! clicks now to autoprice 'and' have a mass delete button !

While I do have access to the island I think it is very unfair to have Carl as a weekend Quest since not every one does have the access.I also have to agree with the others that some one needs to step up to the plate and fix the double quest issue or explain what the hold up is on the inability to fix it
Jumping the bandwagon with everyone else. I'd really love an explanation as to why there is always a double-up on the weekend quests. Preferably a fix to the problem of course, but as least a news post or something stating why it hasn't been fixed/a rough timeline of when it might be. =/

You're pretty new so you may not realize that this glitch has been happening for many months now and it's something a lot of users are pretty tired of, especially when one of the more popular Weekend Quests (ie the Wizard) gets replaced with one that not everyone can access, that gives out fairly low rewards in return for the price of the quests (ie Drunk Carl). Thought you might want some more info since you seemed misinformed. Hope you enjoy Subeta! :D

1) This glitch needs fixing. It's super irritating and confusing to have two quests show up as weekend quest.
2) This is totally unfair to people who can't access the island.

YoshiI'm actually glad Carl is the weekend quest because he deserves his turn from last week. ;c And wizard tokens are still quite deflated. Some tokens are BARELY back at the 1k per point ratio, and that's still quite cheap. unpopular opinion

this is super unfair to the users ( like myself) who don't have access to that island. :( guess there will be no weekend quest for me and i was really hoping for a wizard weekend quest.

Nooo!! I was so excited to see Wiz as the weekend quest, then that plummeted when I saw he was over ridden.
