I have to chime in and agree with THESOVEREIGN and Celesdragon that the Marsh 2012 beanbag and others are too limited. I was lucky enough to grab the Orange and Yellow piro beanbags from the usershops, but I am sad about how few were in there for other collectors. I don't think they should be cheap, but they shouldn't be unobtainable. As a beanbag collector with 11 more beanbags to go, and a collection worth 560 million sP, it would really suck to never be able to finish because of one or two beanbags. :| Is it true the marsh one will never be rereleased? Um that's terrible.

I tried this last year and didn't get many items, so I stayed outta the restocking this year. I might find items I need by going to shops, but as for restocking in that one, that'll be the only one I don't do.

I stalked the shop several nights in a row to get those stickers and try to get the plushies I missed last year. I managed to snag all but one of the stickers (ironically...a common?!), and also got one of the missing plushies. There were several items from last years sets and this years sets that I never even saw pop up in there, despite stalking for hours on end, including commons. I'm all for rarities, but in a severely limited time window and with such fearce competition, I really think holiday specific shops should restcok much more often and wwith more items. I'm in the same boat as thesovereign, regarding the marsh 2012 beanbag. Just look at how many are on the market or in galleries. Because it was made so rare, only 6 to 8 more people will ever be aable to complete a beanbag collection now?

Oh, this was fun ya'll! I've NEVER managed to get anything any of the other years here, but this year I was up bright an early some mornings and was able to get one or two (non rare, but still... I wanted them!) items each morning. I had lots of fun trying to beat the rush and snag the good stuff. Can't wait for next time. :)

I had a lot of freezing and services unavailable this past week, here on Subeta, that I wasn't able to do much of anything in the Freyalise Shop. As soon as the page loads, I see an item, I click on it, takes 30 seconds worth of hanging before it switches me over to the Price and Code page, another 15 - 20 seconds before the letters pop up, and I enter it only to be left hanging for awhile longer only to see the Sold Out. Then back to the main shop page and everything sold out. /sighs I'm rarely around here on Subeta anymore because of this as it's so frustrating. I'll see how it goes for Morostide but if I'm still experiencing these same issues and hassles, I doubt I'll be around for Luminaire and 2013. But again, see what happens.

Congrats to all of the restockers who are lightning fast, but please don't mock others skills. You definitely didn't see my pregnant bum refreshing like a madwoman with swollen feet and heartburn trying to get only a handful of things I wanted. I assure you, I was not slow. But I'm so glad you're proud of yourself. Enjoy your loot.

I'm terrible at restocking since I have a really slow and old computer, so I didn't even try that.
Instead I vended at OD and got a few nice items from there. So all in all I think it was a pretty nice event.

I did so much better last year than this year. I only saw two coat restocks and missed both. I barely saw any of the new stickers or old beanbags or mermaid plushies. Guess there's always next year.

I'm far from being an expert at RSing, but I did manage to snag a number of items :)
I'm still missing most of the beanbags though. Hopefully they'll be in the shop again next year since I couldn't find some in users' shops even during the event.

Not sure what all the issues were. I had some problems restocking but no more then I usually get in non-holiday stores, curse you slow computer. Also vended some nice items from OD. Thanks subeta :)

I'm pretty peeved about the rarities as well, I've spend hundreds of millions on my sticker collection and lots of these new ones are stupid hard to get. I had all of them except Block BB and Rad Radish and now it's going to cost me further hundreds of millions just on a few stickers. I think Keel should be twice a year if you want to make some items so rare, there are a lot more people on the site now.
And to people complaining about autobuyers - it's not like they JUST appeared now. There's always people that are obviously cheating around.

I thought this was a fun event, I'm just sad it's already over. I suck at restocking, so I vended at OD a lot, and I did get some of the frey wearables out of there, but not all of them.
Still, it was fun, and I love all of the new items :)

I really wish people would not fling around accusations of cheating every time the Freyalise rolls around. I restocked very well in there and yes, it's hard... but programs are not being used, otherwise no one would have been able to beat them. It's starting to annoy me that that people look at my shop and think I must've ran a program while watching TV and picking my nose, whereas I actually sat on my butt refreshing every second for hours and typed captchas until my fingers cramped. -_-

I could restock some things last year even with my slow connection and no skills at RSing, but this year I got basically nothing. I think maybe it has something to do with Keith resetting restock rates, as well?
I dunno, this is just not an enjoyable event for me. I suppose I'll see if any of these get unretired next year and try to buy them from users.

pitty my hand eye coordination is so slow lol - i know from the restocking war that some of you are incredible quick with typing in coede and price - some restocked 25 or more of each item that is WOW!!!
i am glad i was able to restock a few stickers pitty not all of them - maybe next year it would be good - to have a time block on it like in the token shop ??? if you restocked something you have t o wait an hour to be able to buy at freyalise again ??? you keep the items as rare as you want but also give the turdles between us a chance :) oherwise it all goes to the rabbits that are quick

Ya I agree, there needs to be rare items - but I think like literally 5 stocked If next year you go and add in new beanbags/plushies and only 5 stock - they are going to literally be the rarest items on the site for 2+ years.
I'm not sure if you have a way to go back and see how many of each stocked over the last 10 days. I stalked the shops, price check threads, and selling/wanted boards pretty religiously over the last 10 days for any mention of them.
If you are ok with them being that rare, good to know going foreward, I have no problem shelling out big bucks for rare items (I just paid 100mil for Marsh 2012 Beanbag, since apparently it will never be rereleased). But it was my impression, that making collection items that rare is something you generally did not like to do. Which is why you devalued Shinwa/Maleria/Hobo plushies from 300mil+/non existant to 250CSC hustler items.

@THESOVEREIGN Some things are meant to be rare, though. Not everything should be easily attainable. I made a lot of the items that were new this year lower in rarity. There deserved to be a few items from each set (beanbags, plushies, stickers, clothes) that stayed rare.

Opps got side tracked: My point about the beanbags is that maybe their rarities should be reexamined for future holiday releases. Now that rares and super rares stock less frequently, and often can not be vended: they are much rarer.

I would be curious to know how many of the Orange and yellow Piro beanbags stocked. Without being able to vend them, I think under 10 of each probably stocked? I think only one orange and two yellows made it to the shops based on tracking the average prices.
i'm not sure that I would go yelling autobuyers quite yet. I tried restocking for a couple hours and was able to get some expensive 4mil+ items. If ABing was a think on subeta, why would people not be constantly complaining about SB. And you would also not be such a high number of walk ins later at night. They would just be auto bought round the clock. Even in the main shops random quest fodder would be bought up to be sold for a profit.
If someone has a program to buy items from shops, even at slow speeds, they suck at using it.

I'm mostly sad the drinking game is also retired. :( I poured a nice bit into just getting alcohol for it and didn't get any prizes. Restocking was horrible this year.

SAD TO SEE THE SHOP GO. Had to pay some hefty prices for a few of the items I really wanted (OTL that Yellow Piroctapus Beanbag, but at least my pet got what he wanted!) but it was fun while it lasted!
I also dunno about all the "Autorefresher" claims tbh /: I mean I've been wasting all of my evenings/last weekend/most of today restocking there... sure I've missed a fair amount of items (I almost cried over missing the yellow beanbag in question, but at least I found one for sale later so you can't win them all) but I also DID get a fair amount of of items as well. Kindness is hard to have when people are cheating. I loved the items and all of the new additions to the holiday this year, and have no complaints in that department. The art was gorgeous. But when you instantly click on something the second it refreshes and three or four items are sold out (in less than one second, with less than 400 people online) it becomes clear that autobuyers are being used by more than a few people. It just seemed SO obvious that I was very surprised there was nothing done about it.

I love these items and this shop, but hate how it is only open for such a limited amount of time. I was hoping that some of the items I needed from last year would at least drop in price (though I indeed TRIED restocking, with little luck)... and it seems they have not dropped at all. :C I want those last three mermaid plushies, and they are all in the 30 mil range! The limited time just keeps the rares at such outrageous prices... it makes me sad. ;A; At least I got some new things... if only a few.

I have to agree with Life. There were times I was constantly refreshing waiting for a restock. When it came I clicked immediately. Every time it was something good it sold out in less than a second, no matter how many items were available. Far too quickly for someone to have gone through the motions of keying in a price and typing the code. It also happened over night when there were less than 400 players on. Obviously autobuyers were used. You'd think those staff members watching the shop would have realized that and done something about it.
Reading the other comments I see far too many disappointed people. Maybe next year the staff will be a little more on the ball.

Lesson learned! I'll just save SP to buy the items next year. I wasted some serious time seeing "Sold Out" over and over again. But I adore some of the common items. :D The artists still have their mojo!
