Vikings are associated with north --> snow --> cold --> winter. I think I'd get really bored if every year's December DP was Christmasy; and even so, we have every day of Melody's cottage (advent) to take care of the holiday spirit :)
Collect the books so certainly want this one. Like a few of the other items too, especially the background and cape.
I'm disappointed. Vikings have nothing to do with Luminaire/Christmas or any winter holiday. Not happy at all :( Some of the items are nice, but I'm very disappointed. I had such high hopes for this collection :(
I don't know if they were just going for Norse Mythology or Tales of Phantasia references... but I'd prefer to choose the latter xD.

The cloaks do transform, you guys! You only have to buy one and transform it based on your needs. This way you can wear it over skirts and dresses without the between-the-leg part getting in the way, AND you can use it with pants without having a weird white area between the legs.

The cloak is transforming. It was made this way to make it a little easier to use in the wardrobe. :)
MUST have the bg. the pelts - I couldn't see much of a difference either, although I like the torn one because you can see between the legs. This can be beneficial for wardrobe reasons.

Have to say...I think those cloaks are a bit of a joke, or a scheme to get people to spend more money to get both of them even though the only difference is between your legs. Drove me crazy at first trying to figure out what the difference between them was. If you're going to have a torn bear cloak, I think it should be more noticeable.
I still am staring at the items..I have no money for any of it! I need at least 3 things..but that book for --Loki-- is top priority!
