A Careaper has been seen scampering around the Battle Coliseum! We hear these guys only come out of hiding for the 13th of every month.
(Careapers usually wake up at midnight, but this one seems to be late -- maybe it wants to be around for part of Valentine's Day, too? Careapers just LOVE love, after all. Such happy little fellows. Can't imagine why they're considered bad luck!)

I really love the art! Wonder how it manages not to bite its tounge with those huge teeth... ;)
I miss the designations easy/medium/hard etc.. it helped me judge what my pet would and wouldn't be able to battle.
OMG, I love how this thing looks. Too bad it's just a battle monster, as I would love to adopt or create one for a pet! =)

Good gravy, this thing is terrifying! This is the sort of thing you maniacally stamp on dozens of times and then barricade yourself in the bathroom because you're too scared to walk past its carcass. Hopefully making it to the bathroom before losing your bowels. Artist, I'm not sure if I love you or hate you. Well done.

So what level is this guy, Impossible? My pets can defeat Very Hard but my best pet only lasted a couple turns. Darn. Wish they had started with a Hard opponent.

Kind of odd to imagine something that looks like a bloodthirsty killer wanting love and affection as if they were some creepy overly attached girl from your class that has a crush on you.
Anyway, for those wondering how to beat him, a full dark blocker that can attack works very well. Also, try to keep him frozen for as long as possible (psycho smasher/shriek of despair scrolls, glaciating pylonics, mercurial throwing vials work well). While he is frozen, hit him as hard as you can.

I'm utterly conflicted by how gorgeous the art is for that... thing.... yet how utterly ugly it is. Won't be able to beat him for a good 5 more years, but... I'm still looking forward to it.

The claws just look overgrown not sharp and scary; they just remind me of a guinea pig who needs a nail trim. Other than that I like the art.
