Item Retirements

About 100 of the Accessory Bin's oldest accessories have been retired.
The Luminaire and New Year items from the Holiday Shop have also retired.

Gold Pearl Ornament is still not retired.

I wonder if with each event staff ever feel like they're holding back the doors of walmart/toys-r-us minutes before opening on Black Friday and hoping they don't get crushed in the inevitable stampede.
I did wonder why the Christmas and New Year stuff was in stock for so long! Glad to see the back of a lot of these accessory items... less junk to frag though, awh :(
@TheNarcolepticCatHerder It depends what rarity they were, really. The common stuff will still stay cheap/abundant for a LONG time. The rare stuff might become valuable though :)

OMG!!!!!!! Items retired that I have in bulk in my vault.... did i just Subeta correctly?!?!?!
Glad I bought what I was able to get, last minute scrambling to get items I never bothered to buy from that store... felt like a shopping spree...
I am not even much of a zombie fan but I am dying for some plot! I want something to do!

@Rulire It was a mistake on my part! I thought I already retired the Luminaire items and didn't realize it until someone brought it up.

So does this mean it will be easier to vend the newer items from OD of the accessory shop now that 100 of the old ones are retired?

When you say Mid-February you make me think of the 14th. I mean, half of 28 is 14, right? xD Mid? Get it? Middle? Alright I'm done hahaha
The Luminaire items should have been retired earlier in January. Just saying.
And everyone really needs to get off the fence about the Pandemic. It'll happen.

Also, guys. "This occasion is observed starting mid-February, and continues until the beginning of March." From the Survival article in the SubetaPedia. ;)

lol guys the retirements shouldn't have been a shock. I made a comment in the items added tuesday that there would be retirements.
Where is the Pandemic? It sure seems to be starting later than usual. I am not quite sure why it is that the Luminaire and New Years items weren't retired earlier. I mean, the Luminaire items were already in their third month staying in the Holiday Shop.

Come onnnnnn. flails Teasing the user-base is not kind. So be kind and throw us to the zombies already.

Wow, I remember when those items in the post came out. Everyone was loving and drooling over the academy scarves then. How time flies. I already knew the Luminaire and New Years items were retired. I had two Lumi items in my inventory that were saying retired hours ago.

tractors in a hitch full of zombies Sorry folks they just werent lumbering fast enough, some are missing legs! (grumps waiting)

I love this game. Sad to see more old items go though, it feels like just yesterday they were being released...
Oh, man... So disappointed. I thought the Pandemic had started. It's starting late this year, isn't it? (Last year it started on the 13th in the evening. Year before that it was the afternoon on the 14th.) So sad.
