i think i'm going to have to join the boat of people here who are disappointed with the lack of viruses this february, as this is my first "actual" pandemic. i joined over a year ago, however i was inactive for a large period of time and missed all of the events last year. i feel like the event is coming to a close soon, as well, as february is a few days from ending. kind of really sucks, but don't get me wrong, i really enjoy the new color and items and getting achievements, but it'd be a lot better with a plot line. i especially feel like the story regarding ecks and skitters is unfinished, though.
but, i digress.
i really like the illumis; it took me a moment to realize the art for it was to imply it was once pinned into a shadow box i assume, for that of a bug collector. nice job!!

Frankly I'm quite happy with this event and I've never been a part of the pandemic? If one joined SL just to get into the pandemic they're missing out a lot of good attributes on this site other than plots and stuff. I'm glad they released a new color, and that they revamped the Chai because I felt it really was needed.
People can complain about what they want, but February is almost ending? I mean, I understand complaining a little, but come on. Don't get focused on just that, sometimes changes happen for a reason. I'm still going to love this site, with or without a pandemic. It's a good place, and I have fun here either ways c:

No one ever promised that it would be an annual event, or that there would be a plot event at all. Plot-wise it wouldn't make sense that the pandemic would last forever. I think people need to take things a little less seriously.
I love the Illumis.
Yea I understand Thunderbird but still, new (Although SO awesome) pets don't make up for a whole missing event. Meh whatever, I'm not going to bitch about it except by saying it made me sad. That is all.

Thunderbird what are you talking about? People are voicing their opinions over this sudden change without a fair warning. There are newbies that have come here to experience the Pandemic first hand, only to be cheated out of that. And this cannot be called a real event when all everyone is doing is click to get hearts. Many are disappointed, and many more are bored with this event. There should've been something mentioned either during Keith Answers or even during the KIKI last month.Something. Even after the event ended last. Just typing a message at the beginning of the week that looks like a Mad Lib won't cut it.Also others cured not knowing there won't be any new viruses.
I just hope the staff listens this time, and don't make the same mistake again. And that they don't do V-Day before or after the actual holiday itself is over. What business do you have anyways telling people to go do something else any how? They have the right to enjoy this site and enjoy something other then just V-day stuff and just catering to one side, one group only. This was not a good business move on their part. They need balance things out properly to make BOTH sides happy.

Funny story, I looked at the graveyard pherret last night, I woke up this morning and my ferret Denise broke her front right leg...
I already have my lovely Graveyard Harvester, but I really love that Illumis, and I don't like bugs. Great work on these!

Subeta has done so much this year for the Survival celebration. For one, the new Sweetheart pet color and now, new Graveyard pets. Do you know the last time Subeta released a pet color? Nostalgic in December 2011. That's over a year ago. I suggest you guys look on the bright side here and consider that.
Also, the Chai looks perfect! It looks like it could have come right out of the movie "Saw" with the missing eye over its skin, chain around its neck, and messed up leg, as well as the barbed wire antennae. I also love the Illumis - it looks like that could be a cane in its hand instead of a needle sticking out. The Pherret isn't my favorite pet, but still looks well done!

Man who draws the illumis? Because you ROCK! I love every color of it and if it wasn't for my person rule of only one of a species I would have all of them.

Finally something dead! I'd prefer it to be our HAs but it's something. And a lovely something, at that!! The Illumis is freakin gorgeous. <3<3<3 I mean DAYUM. Probably the loveliest graveyard pet I've ever seen.
I'm happy with all of these. I didn't get the pherret at first but then I saw pose and placement of the cuts and realized it was supposed to be a stole.

Gee, it looks like everyone bitching about the lack of new Zombie pets finally got their wish. I'd rather have new Sweatheart pets, honestly.
not to fond of the Pherret, it is positioned almost exactly as our mounted Ferret Shuna, makes me sad very sad :(

Going to go along with the crowd here and say that the Illumis looks amazing! I'm not usually into the Graveyard pets (except the Donadak because it looks like stone and such), but I just love that pose.

I admit I'll miss the way the old Graveyard Chai's antennae were bent at odd angles but I see that the new one has its leg stuck in a bear trap! An improvement, although I think it looks a little flat in places (most likely the shading on the leg and the ear style)
The Graveyard Illumis is delightful! I was wondering how it would be differentiated from the Bumbus but the curls in the mane and pins do it for me.
The Graveyard Pherret looks like someone turned it into a fur stole. It doesn't top the Graveyard Terracoon for me but I like how comical it looks.

Oh, good. The Chai needed another revamp (it looked like its head was on backwards or something because of the pose and the inside of its leg looked like bubblegum or something), and I've been waiting for the Illumis. I always hoped it'd look something like the Caesious Moth minion, but this is good, too, and the pins sticking out like a bug in an entomologist's collection is a neat idea. Even if it had been something I hated, I'm just SO glad you didn't just take a joke route like with the Mallarchy and Torrent and make it a splatter. That would have been such a cop-out. I don't have much to say about the Pherret. I don't really feel one way or the other about it. The pose is weird, but it's a corpse, so I guess it can bend at odd angles if it wants to. Is it supposed to look like a fur around someone's neck?

Omg, I don't even like GY pets, but I'd actually consider getting an Illumis. Hell, sometimes I just want a whole legion of Illumis because I don't think there's one color of them that I dislike. ;---;
The Illumis is awesome, truly fantastic. I reminds me of Augra, or the Junkyard goblin woman from Labyrinth... And for the record...I too am disappointed at no zombies or story..I really wanted them this year. not hating, just sighing.
These pets are quite creepy ;3; that Pherret has been really creeping me out lol. But lovely art work. Siyana, nah. I don't think the NPC has art that's specifically drawn for it (except for the skin, but I'm not so sure about it), so it's dressed up to look like Skitters. It's wearing at least Skitters Cardboard Mask, Gold False Eye, Skitters Favorite Needle and Stained Wifebeater. Not sure about the pants.

That Illumis is fantastic. I love it so much I'm thinking about gettin one. And for the all crabby people buck up, Subeta doesn't have to do anything, we are just lucky they do things for us to keep us interested and ya know thinking. But if they need to take a break to prepare for other things or just lack of motivation that's fine. I don't see why people are so mad. Just because it's happened a few years doesn't mean it will happen again, maybe the plots just been solved? I don't know...I just don't understand the anger. If you're really looking for something to do then go outside or something.

-adds himself to the half dozen users that're already voicing disappointment- Crimson Tears (PS2) had a better thought out plot than this Survival Celebration. And... Like I commented on the first post about Sweetheart pets--- New pet art really isn't something I'm super excited about, this one specifically because color revamps happen even when there's not events.
The Illumis is creepy and a cool concept with the pins. The other two...well, I'm a vegetarian partly because dead animals/animal imagery bother me, so yeah. I mean, cool art, just not my cup of tea.
And seriously, the haters need to chill out a bit. Not everyone can be happy with everything 100% of the time. So this year wasn't yet another zombie epidemic. Frankly, in my opinion, it was getting old anyway. There's nothing wrong with taking a year to appeal to users who aren't zombiephiles. There are still wearables/beanbags/books/plushies/foods for everyone, plus a new pet color. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to sour grape your way through the holiday and ruin it for people who do.
Give it a rest already.

The art quality is good, but the Pherret looks pretty awkward. The different directions of the limbs make them look slapped-on.
Finally, a Graveyard pet I want. That Pherret isn't as disgusting as most. Sensitive stomach, you see.
Are there no HA infections going around this year at all? Are we dropping doing that so we can have cutesy valentines pets and graveyard ones? :(

Ugh, the Illumis! It's slowly becoming one of my favorite species on this website. Wish I had an excuse to get one of them, because they're beautiful! The other two look lovely as well~

I would just like to point out that necessary revamps aside, every species is now available in graveyard!! Kudos to our art team!

Sorry Skitters, I worked hard to set aside time to finally participate in the Pandemic, and to be honest pal, I'm not so fond of the unliving. I think it's the smell. . . So uhm .... no go. But for unliving fans, I'm sure they're terrific! Love the humor.
