I really don't like the revamp of the wings, they just seem crappy. Any chance you could change those back to how they looked before? When I originally bought the wings, I loved them, now I hate the idea of applying them to my HA.
We do not need 2 separate items that are basically the same item. The older ones would still remain unused by the majority.
Come on, the wings are clearly wrapped from the back, there is a small bit of the visible between the right hand one and right upper arm x/
AH. The headbands... They aren't high enough above the HA's head to fit the hairstyles I have anymore! D:
I dunno' why I'm blown away by some of these nasty comments, still. Geeze. As I said before however, everything looks wonderful. The wings are -stunning- compared to the old models...I had a bit of a tough time using them before, they were just a little clunky for my liking. I'm really, -really- excited to give the new ones a shot, though. The headbands actually go to the back of the ear like I hoped they would someday and the color looks much more uniform and oh so delightful. <3 And the HORNS. HORNS, EEK. Worry not, artists. Your work is very much appreciated despite -some- people who need another lesson on constructive criticism. Good grief. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You spoil us. uvu <3
The items were in desperate need of better art. Tbh I'd rather have revamps than new items. New items have the hassle of waiting & restocking/vending while revamped items already exist onsite somewhere.
The paralix playset is nice but I'll miss the horns and long hair. :( the new horns look like twigs. ¬¬

i just looked at the revamp of the simple and strong headband.i liked..it is NOW..awkwardly angled and quite less bold !!!!????
can someone tell me WHY revamps are being done instead of just calling them NEW items plz????? they seem to be hitting items i love and changing them to be unappealing and unwearable. wish they would just be left alone!! create new items for the site..charge us a fee to choose to keep the old look... whatever it takes but geeeezzz....shakes head sadly.

The wings look like they're supposed to be in place of the HA'S arms. So, that's probably why most of you feel they're 'off' or 'awkwardly shaped'.
I really don't like the horns. Horns are my favorite items on the site and these just.. I still don't want to use them at all. They look extremely awkward and don't stand up to the rest of the detail you see on Subeta's recent items. They look as if there were made by a novice in regards to perspective.

.........i am EXTREMELY dismayed that the gorgeous wings that enfolded us now look like cartoon clipped parakeet wings :(...they now hold no more enchantment while worn!!

Also, the drastic trenchcoat overhauls made them much more realistic and able to actually exist (removing those with halos/wings/etc). Making these more into costume parts would fit with that precedent. A revamp can change the direction/intent of the item.

I never said they didn't apply, all I pointed out was that they're not Custom Items (CIs) for site art.
And I agree it should be in the description, but those also were not revamped at all so it's quite possibly it's oversight. The other, similar, full body + boots bird costumes that are also in the accessory bin are clearly costumes, part of the conjecture on my part, along with the fact that this was done with the playset and horns revamp, which are both clearly costume parts.
As for the CW comparisons being here inevitably, it wasn't so much about quality as people getting their knickers in a twist over wings in both directions (good and bad) / wings being a popular and often heated CW subject.

I agree with Gabriel. If the staff is going to set certain standards for custom wearables, they should be setting the same standards for site artists.

if they're supposed to be fake wings, then why isn't that included in the name or the description? I'm not entirely sure I follow seeing as the original wings were intended to be, as you say, ' real, functional wings out of the back'. I'm sorry for trying to add a little concrit input as a user who loves good, functional wings in both theme and in use.

The dragon horns look a bit lopsided, I almost like the older ones better, but it's not like I use them much anyway.

I assume they made the wings a little plasticky/fake because they're from the accessory bin and are a bit of a costume. They're not pills and elixirs meant to grow real, functional wings out of the back, as most of the CWs have gotten around it.

Loving all the revamps! When I go into my wardrobe I have all sorts of new things to play with. :)
I like the Revamps, apart from the Wings.
They look like sombody attached some shields in front of your body, and nothing like folded wings.
The old ones were weirdly angled but way more believable.

nice improvement on everything!! Although the wings still look really odd to me due to their positioning.
I think the mortiking playset was forgotten / not revamped yet?

I'm sorry, but I'm against the majority on the wing revamp. You can't see any folds of feathers that should be there, and it looks like the wings are mounted on the front of the arms, not curled around from the back. (also, to quote some of my wing denials, there's not enough feathers poking out. wings aren't perfect-- they don't look like scales or appear flat. That's one thing to keep in mind!) The colors and shading is good, but the positioning could be waaaay better. The original, imo, had better positioning.
HOWEVER, I love the cis so I may be grabbing a few for tcs-- so definite kudos on that.

yesss the wings are an INCREDIBLE improvement..bought them and will put them to use later this week :)
The folded wings look a bit odd though, perspective-wise... They look like they're in frontal view instead of 3/4 view, and why is the farther wing longer?
I can't say I'm a fan of the revamped wings. The old ones looked like they were attached and enfolding you, these ones look like a couple of wing-shaped shields being held.
YESS THE WINGS also everything else but I'm really happy about the folded wings :heart: still loving the cascade of revamps!
