Glade Swampie Revamp
Some large beasts swim slowly, and this glade swampie is no exception! Whilst he may have missed Spring to debut his new look, hopefully his shiny new coat more than makes up for it!

I like how no one actually cares about how the Swampie looks, just that there's a frog in the picture now.

To those who are upset about a glade pet getting attention whilst other pets that need redrawing 'more' are 'ignored' - I would just like to remind you that different artists are responsible for different pets. The person who now draws the swampie is currently in charge of ONLY the swampie - and so this has not been put in front of any other pet species! Whilst Glade is a relatively new colour, there are a few that were done early on that didn't quite match what we now have in mind for our glade pets. We're not about to revamp all of the glade pets, don't worry!

I agree with @Anathema. I just can't get over the FACE. It's just not cute... The old Glade Swampie had that precious beard and those cute horns. I liked his wide face and nose... Someone said the new one is more feminine. I agree. And unfortunately I don't like it. :/ The art is beautiful, don't get me wrong. But I picked out all of my pets with the intention of making them ALL Glade pets. I picked the Glade Swampie based on the features I mentioned above... Now that he no longer HAS those features... It feels wrong to waste a Glade Potion, but I might have to change Mizuume to something else. Cause I really just don't like this revamp.

I have to admit, I liked the duckweed beard and mushroom horns on the old one. But otherwise, this revamped Swampie is superior in every way.
I understand that without the beard it's less masculine looking, so it' nicer for people with female pets, and the mushrooms were odd on a water beast..., but I liked them.
I especially like how the blue fish has been rescaled to fit the swampie's size. And that adorable frog :)

Don't get me wrong the revamped version is pretty but I'm glad that I finally decided to go for another Pet with the one that was a Glade Swampie for quite a good while - it wouldn't match him at all anymore and I couldn't so relaxed about this news post. ^_^;

So nice! The old one's face and neck always seemed distorted to me. I miss the blue fish, but the little froggy makes up for it! Big improvement!

I think the old one is more original, jut another overused pose this one have too bad ;x
However besides that, the detail is much better but im not a swampie fan so it doesn't matter what they do with thi species ;p

The Swampie looks squished into the image, but I like that it occupies more space and has a bit more vitality in the eyes. And the added lilypads.
Wish that the fin fronds had been kept, though.

I preferred the old pose; this one looks boring (I felt the old one was more dynamic but mehhh). But the revamp is nice, nonetheless. Good job to the artist who did the revamp.

This is so much better than the old one! The old one had such an awkward pose and I kept thinking the tail was the head. >_o Kudos to whoever did this revamp! Plus as others have said, the frog is an adorable touch.

Personally, I love this revamp. While I do think that there are other pet colors that might have needed a revamp a little more than this particular combo, overall it looks wonderful. I'm especially fond of the new detail to the face. Whoever the artist is: great work! c:

I really love the lily pads on this guy and while I do think it looks better then the other art I just don't really understand why this was revamped. As far as I know glade pets aren't that old and when I look at the other glade swampie by itself I don't see a pet that needs a revamp at all. I just wish we could have gotten a new glade pet that doesn't have any art, sorry to whine. I do like the new art.

Man, I hate to be a revamp whining person, but I didn't see this coming at all. Why did that guy need it, that art was plenty pretty on its own (this is super pretty too but the old pose and texture made me so happy)

Oooh. I've never been a big fan of Swampies (not that some of the colors aren't lovely, especially artistically... they just have never appealed to me enough to make me want to change someone RIGHTNOW)....... but this one is actually really awesome. I really like D:
