Quick Bites Grand Opening!
After years of overrun aisles that weren't to code, the Food Market has branched out! They've opened a sister store, Quick Bites, which serves every kind of prepared food you can--but might not want to--imagine. So come on down to our grand opening I guess.
Both stores have changed some recipes and are looking better than ever! Be sure to keep an eye out for new tasty treats and ingredients from both establishments later today.

Excuse me while I go on a food-buying spree. More stuff for my gallery! And the updates are so good, I was just thinking the rice needed an update.
So not only did we get a new shop, but updated food art, aannnnd 2 new shop keepers?! happy dance So glad to see another Ji-Meneb NPC, Liz seems totally cool.
I'm going to imagine that Anne is a tribute to Buffy when she worked at the fast food restaurant, because of her name and hat.
I've been waiting so long for the day that the food market finally got a shopkeeper (maybe in part because you had to manually refresh the shop without one) and Liz is better than I could have ever imagined. She and her pet are both adorable. Quick Bites also makes me excited too because Food Market was too big and it's going to be so much easier to finish restocking all the foods for my gourmand with less invo. I also can't complain about Anne and her cute avatar/npc shopkeeper art...or the new food. Best Subeta Day possible right here!
Oh cool, more stuff for the gourmand achievement... once prices come down to reasonable amounts that is.

I've never wondered what the Wizard named his Kumos, but there's something about that Experiment pet that keeps me thinking that something with that much personality ought to have a name.

This is really great. The food shop definitely needed to be cleaned up and this is a perfect way to do it.

There are a lot of revamps, some haven't updated in the shops yet. :) Keep a look out for them though!
A much needed split. Also, loving the NPC art for both shops. The Bovyne cap to match the cup is a nice touch. And the Food Market's NPC - its nice to see more of the elven/whatever Jack and Elwood's species are running around Subeta. The clinging squid experiment is also hysterical, but I worry about its head juices.... gasses? getting on the food xP
