New Pet: Noktoa!
Do you notice something in the air today? Some kind of indefinable, magical quality? Earlier, I saw an odd kind of shimmer out in the sands of the Sacred Lands, and now this mysterious bird has settled outside my window.
Item not found: noktoa elixir 
It couldn\'t be a noktoa, could it? They are supposed to be very elusive birds, rarely spotted in the wild, but these ones seem quite friendly. I wonder why they\'re suddenly appearing now?
I\'ve spotted a few more flying around, so if you tread gently, you might be able to bring a noktoa of your own home.
It appears that the magic box may have had word early about these new feathered friends - if you\'re lucky you can pick up an elixir there!

The large oval spots on the wings throw me off a little (I find them slightly distracting -- my eyes tend to automatically focus on them rather than the face), but this is a pretty damn fantastic new species! I really love the design and how mythical they look, the antlers are really well-done and I'm a huge fan of the crescent moon marking. I love the big feet! Owls aren't really my cup of tea so I'm not sure I'll be adopting one myself, but I'm really happy for the people who've been wanting an owl pet for so long! The noktoa is wonderful. It's really great to have another new species, it feels like it's been ages!

Oh my! This is absolutely gorgeous! _ It looks very similar to most of the mythical creatures that I sketch. I love deer, owls, and all things mysterious, very much! This bird is a combination of all of those! I will definitely create a Noktoa as my own! c:

I knew there was a reason i bought extra pet slots on Black Friday! Owls are one of my favorite birds and i love the design of this one (especially the big feet, antlers and the crescent moon on its head), so i thought i'd better get one. I'm looking forward to seeing the special colors but for now i'm quite pleased with my Dusk Noktoa. :D

A lot of people have been asking for an owl-based pet for a very long time, glad to see they've finally made it! <3
They are great but, I feel bad for some of the older unpopular pets, many of them just can't compete with this pretty face owl.
I guess that makes them more special, because there are less of them.

i LOVE this concept, i really, really do. i'm totally psyched for nonbasic colors, though i do feel the black inner lines on the wing throw this off! just a little constructive crit ;u; i also feel that maybe the shading needs a bit more contrast --
either way, totally awesome pet design even if the art leaves a tiny bit to be desired from the basic pets and i'm completely 100% looking forward to more colors +___+!!!!!

I've been wanting owl pet(s) ever since I really got into working with my pets on the site. I'm gonna wait until some special colors are released before trying to figure out what color my Noktoa pets will be. (And there will be more than one, I think.) That said, I do really like Cream and Marsh versions and might end up going with them anyway.

This is so ironic. Earlier this month I was wishing for a pet that I could name after my grandma (who passed away earlier this year) but she was never really much of an animal person so none of the current pets really fit. This, however, is perfect. She always loved owls.

I hope they come out with a Secret of the Nimh version of one for nostalgia or nightmare. I think his name was Nicodemus? I have a feeling I will want one or two of these.

Not a fan of the 'basic' colors, but I love owls and can't wait to see what the artists do with other colors as they come out! Excited to have a new species on site. :)
This is definitely a gorgeous new species, can't wait to see some of the special colors as well, even though I already do love Dawn, Cream and Arid. :D
