Steamwork Magnus and Harvester!

Hello, beautiful people! What a grand week it\'s been. I\'d say my body is aching but I haven\'t put it through anything more rigorous than usual. Let me show you these hot new pets we\'ve been working on! First, the steamwork magnus - still able to perch all broody-like on the sides of buildings, shouldn\'t get any more rusty than he is now. And the steamwork harvester, there\'s all kinds of stuff going on up under that material, but you can\'t just look under a harvester\'s cape, you know. (We did, but we\'re professionals.)

I've been so disappointed in the steamworks pets this year and these really aren't any different :( they all seem so simplistic compared to the others!

The magnus is absolutely incredible. The tiny little turnkey in its back is great. I also love the way that the Harvester looks like a Jawa from "Star Wars."

I think this might explain the problem I have with the eyes. Something about the shape and positioning make it look like the Harvester is looking directly at us, when the hood suggests otherwise. There's no indication that they're attached to its (slightly turned) head.

The Harvester's cloak looks really flat next to all the detail in its scythe, and the eyes look like they're just floating there, completely detached from anything else. I feel like it could have been a cool design, but it needs a little more work. I'm not a huge Harvester fan though, so my bias is probably showing.

I like the Magnus though :)
