I bought the sticker last night and now I have no interest in the VIP ticket at all. As for those of you trying to tell other people how they should and shouldn't feel, mind your own business. This whole thing has been highly frustrating and I don't blame people at all for venting their frustration.

People like me? Which bit of me - the insane half, the useless bit or the 5yo? Also, I don't recall insulting the mods. Why would I? They do work hard and it's a thankless job most of the time. And considering the social acceptability of not needing to feel empathy towards anyone unless you can directly relate to their specific issue, it's not a job I'd do.
I only recall whining and asking for cheese. That, and pulling the "my life sucks" low blow card of course. Now does that card count like an ace in a straight during poker, or is it more like an ace that can do double duty by being an 11 or a 1 as in Blackjack?

Regardless of anyone's health issues or choice to stalk the website all day and still miss a restock because they had to take a leak/eat/whatever......."Exclusive" and "Limited" mean just that. Not everyone is going to get a VIP ticket. Big whoop. Why is this such a big effing deal? The word "entitled" was thrown around a few times even....and yes, some of the comments I've read over the last couple of days do have that feel to them. But ridiculing each other and being rude, ranting and raving at the staff about fairness.....Seems a bit much.

I understand wanting to have complete collections and whatever, but there are ways to acquire items after they've been sold from the Cash Shop or Token Shop if you're not lucky enough to be online when the item in question does restock. Ask a friend. Look for a trade. Buy it from a user shop. Go to Facebook and Twitter and enter some of the giveaways that are being conducted by Subeta in the days before the event. If those options dont' end up working for oyu....then it wasn't meant to be.

I dont believe I said you were the one to be rude to staff. All I said was that people like stella and others who are making negative comments about this/orothers who have specifically called out mods like ariel over this silly issue should take the time to think how they feel. While currently they were only thinking of themselves.

They take the time to make these, to do art, to be creative for us. So why should they be treated with disrespect because we cant accept that something is hard to get. Especially when they made it availabe in more than one way.

I did read your post, and. I find it silly you arent just saying it was me you were aiming comments at. I might have taken the lgbt thing in the wrong way, but that doesnt mean I wasnt 'listening' to you. The other commenter might have been a bit rude in wording. But I dont think it was name calling to say it was unreasonable. Some people have complained about -having- to sit and wait for hours for this. When people clearly stated there are ways like user shops to get it/we have a week and a half. So being angry at staff for that and in a sense 'calling them names' for being cheap and stupid to not take their money is pretty much the same thing your mad about.

Stella, I'm glad to see you sticking up for yourself. And to the person who told me that s/he did not see any name calling I would only say refer to the post in which Stella was "called out" by using her UN and was told "You are extremely entitled and unreasonable" YES, that IS name calling.

Also I did NOT say that anyone was being put down for being LBGT. I said that this is a site that is wonderful because we are NOT censored and we ARE allowed to be open about our opinions as well as being open if we are gay, etc. I assume that my long speech was not carefully read by the one who felt the need to let me know that the staff here works hard etc. I did not put down subeta OR the staff.

Yes, it's true that we ALL have the right to express opinions but it IS against the rules to name call, and calling Stella "entitled and unreasonable" (not to mention the cruel things that were also said to her in that comment) is not OK. We do NOT have the right to be mean or name call here. I think my long comment was clear in what I was saying.

Nice to know how loved and appreciated one can be. In fact I didn't even realise I was being so deeply appreciated until I was told.
And yeah I'm venting on a small thing about a pet-site because RL stuff is too big to deal with at the moment. Instead, I type it out instead of say waltz into a store like I own the place and make unreasonable demands of the staff, then whine when they won't cater to me until they eventually give in. I've not done that because I've worked retail and I dealt with such people, all without exploding in their faces. But, I'd whine about it to another member of staff or even online in a forum because venting frustration in a 'presumably' safe environment is better than doing at a total stranger who just happens to irk you.
As to my whines, I know I'm whining, hence I add the final sentence stating my cheese preferences to go with my whine. If people don't get the joke or feel entitled enough to ignore it and complain about my whines anyway - fine. If it makes you feel better or superior go right on ahead. I'll be here with a section of cheeses and water biscuits if you should want them.

So many people make rude comments in here towards ariel and other mods who have nothing to do with this. And yet somehow that is ok? I also think bringing up the -my life sucks- card is just so low. Everyone has problems, some more than others. But getting to comparing whose life is worse and how much more someone deserves someone is just a pile of bull. So I do see why some people would be annoyed by that.

You are commening your opinions openly, so it gives people the right to give their opinion of what you say. It sucks, and some people go way overboard. But Its the way it works. And when there are more ways than the cs to get a ticket in, I just dont see why its a huge deal. Be thankful that they at least make events.

Wouldnt it suck more if they didnt even bother and made everything cash shop so those less fortunate with money irl couldnt even enjoy it?

And on the other hand, they are half as much SP in user shops now as when this started a couple days ago. Soon, you can just buy one. No waiting, no stress, no anxiety, see? I'll just stalk the cash shop and buy from a user shop last minute if need be. And if all else fails, I have one from the token shop already. Piece of cake. Regardless, I will enjoy the festival. :)

VIP=rare and hard to get, hence the VIP tickets are rare and hard to get. I don't understand why people don't understand this. Not everyone will get a VIP ticket or it wouldn't be VIP. Everybody doesn't need everything, omg. WE DON'T NEED EVERYTHING!

I am consistently dismayed with the name calling that some people seem to think is OK. One of the things that makes this site SO much better than neopets is that we're allowed to say how we feel, be openly LGBT and even use words such as fuck and shit if we feel like it, just to name a couple things. People are frustrated about not being able to get these tickets and I understand the frustration, though I WAS able (finally) to get the VIP ticket. However, to those of you who seem to think it's OK to ridicule and name call others who are merely speaking their opinions I would urge you to check your own behavior. One of the wonderful things about this site is that we are allowed to complain and express frustration and feelings as long as we don't personally dig into someone else and tell that person what is wrong with them and call them names and be cruel. To those of you who flip out your nasty comments to people who are doing nothing other than expressing feelings (and some of you are actually saying WHO it is that you want to berate) I am appalled at the behavior.

It's against the rules to single people out and be unkind. It's not against the rules to express frustration, as long as you don't name call. If those of you who find it necessary to be mean and call other people names would stop and think about it, you're complaining TOO. It's just that you are complaining about other people who are expressing their feelings, people who have not hurt anyone and have not complained or singled out any other users. If those of you who find it necessary to berate others are so bothered by it, then don't read it. Everyone has a right to an opinion, but you are not allowed to say mean things to other people.

Also, those of us who have expressed frustration, we who spend a LOT of cash here are helping those people who have no cash to spend, in a variety of ways. AND, I think that we know that VIP means limited, but the very fact that it is a cash item is one thing that makes it VIP, since usually (in real life) VIP is special status for someone who has more to spend, so I agree with all of the others who have expressed the opinion that more should be available: since we're paying in cash, it's sort of ridiculous for the tickets to be SO hard to come by.

Also,I was one of those ppl on another thread who talked about my chronic health issues, and as a result a sarcastic comment was made toward myself and another user who also expressed the same frustration because of her health. It truly saddens me that those of you who are apparently completely unsympathetic toward others can be so unkind. Not everyone is blessed with good health and tons of energy. I've had pain and low energy since I was a teen, and now I'm 59 and its due to a disease I was born with. If you have lived your life pain and disease free, then count yourself as blessed, and maybe try to understand that chronic illness is not an easy life and brings with it a LOT of challenges, in addition to all the other challenges that all people have. My point is that I'm not saying that only ill people have challenges. Those of us who are ill understand that we don't have a corner on the market for suffering, which is the human condition, and which can be soothed by kindness toward one another.

I've met a LOT of people, such as myself who are not well enough to be out in the world enjoying "normal" lives and having lives that are enriched by all the wonders of the worlds. Some of us depend on the internet to be our windows to the world and to wonderful sites such as subeta to be our only source of finding friends and community. I so wish that people could simply be more kind to each other. We all have a right to express our frustration as long as we're not hurting others. I think it IS hurting others when you call someone out by their UN so you can "tell them off." Some of the ones who have been mean have done so very surreptitiously, but that doesn't make those of you who don't call names any better.

I know that I don't need to read these comments either and I'm going to stop doing so because I'd like to have more faith in people than what I'm seeing here. Has it occurred to those of you who feel the need to say mean things that perhaps you might simply say to that person who is frustrated something kind and supportive such as "gee so and so, I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time with this." It's so much easier to be kind than to be unkind. People all need each other to get along in this world, and kindness goes a long way...much farther than meanness...and THAT is my very long winded opinion. So if someone wants to rip me a new one for my long speech, "have at it" and if that's what makes you feel better about yourself, at the end of the day, then you have my sympathy.

I just don't understand the logic behind it.
The last one literally did nothing but give us some items, it could have literally been a small token and omitted the whole "VIP" title. We know they sold a fair few. But this time it's limited. Why is it limited ? Is there a real purpose behind it this time ?
And by that extension... Why is the site so hung up on making things so limited in the first place. That's actually a different topic, actually.
I JUST WANT TO KNOW. I bought the last VIP item because I needed a couple of the items it came with. While I love the colors of these items, I am not sure I'd ever use them, so I need a better reason other than "they're more rare." The chance of them becoming less than what I spend for them is... rather high. So give me a reason.

Ok they want everyone to get a chance BUT the restocks are very few for the people who want a ticket the way i look at it why not stock more than is stocking at the moment after all nobody can buy more than two tickets so no one can hoard them and sell at inflated prices because people want them.So to the staff why can't there be decent restocks to Cash shop as was said to give people a Chance.

I agree, this is kinda silly. You have an item people are willing to spend money on and we have to try to be on when this is released. I hope you change this policy as it makes everyone anxious.

Agree with RedCalypso. I'm done trying to get a ticket that's never there. Will just buy what I want in shops and make due with the regular ticket.

The only reason I wanted the VIP ticket was to get the sticker. Since it is now in user shops and Subeta is making it so hard to get a VIP ticket, then screw it. I'll just buy the sticker and Subeta can forget about getting my money.

Dude stella, holyshit. I understand not being on a ton. But I got the ts ticket. So idc if I miss the other Ill still get in. If its that important buy it from a user. You dont -have- to sit here all day and get it. Subeta is not forcing you to. Its your choice. Yes they made it harder, but from what I hear the only perks are the items. Which are already selling in user shops.

The more Im on sub the more I get tired of everyone complaining. What are we, five year olds? Be thankful they even take time to make events, and even more that they made tickets available outside the cash shop. Youd be even more pissed if they were only these ever so often cs ones as only 1/3 of sub could even get in.

If you choose to put your life on hold for the sake of a PET SITE, that's your problem. If you miss the passes, you miss the passes. I'm glad I got one, but if I hadn't I wouldn't have carried on the way you (and some others) are. You are extremely entitled and unreasonable. I bought a vip ticket with tokens from the token shop which actually turns out to be cheaper in the long run than buying it in the cash shop.

I understand having a limited amount - but the small random releases are horrible, schedule so many tickets to go up at a certain time like real event tickets. But I secretly think it is a ploy to keep us on the site, but don't keep telling us to cool our britches - it is just making it worse. I have been online using the site multiple times when the tickets went up now, and it is worse than doing a grab in the token shop.

Ariel has said they're being released 50-100 at a time. Of course these got snapped up in a heartbeat, everyone and their mother are stalking the Cash Shop for these tickets ATM. There's still 11 days until the event, and I'm sure more than that many restocks. *pets everyone on the head* It'll be alright, really. <3 And besides, as with any "concert," VIP passes are limited and are released on a first come, first served basis. Those who are in the right place at the right time will get them. That's life.
