I saw these and was excited, then I saw the price. Yeah I know vanity wont let you pick the set, but those also have 5-7 items. And that costs you 250csc.
These are 600 for four. Which is just a rip. I was worried that the peka boo item prices would move over :/ I get it for the botique. But these are just items in the style of vanity that cost a lot more than usual. As much as I like them, I much prefer the old method. I would try, and if I didnt get what I wanted I traded my set for what I did want.
Plus then some people would keep what they wanted/sell the rest for a reasonable price.
Still, pretty items. Dont know if I will be able to afford any with out being able to buy csc for a few months. Im sort of crossing my fingers that if you buy a whole set youd get a discount. Ugh why all the nice things lately we are all going broke xD
Ps. There needs to be a way to get 25csc if you guys are keeping up with items outside of the botique costing that. It is a nightmare trying to offer/ask for csc for them.

To those saying we pay much more for CWs...yes I spend 600CSC on CWs, but usually they are quite exclusive, with only maybe 20 on site, yet these are somewhat more common, and since they are priced the same as boutique items, I don't really wanna shell out that much for them. Hopefully they'll be in the Black Friday sale :)

What's bugging me the most is that items from the same set aren't even next to each other in the Cash Shop. It's just one messy pile of clothes. Why not make a separate bag for everything? Aka Conflate Set, or Conflate Bag, or Vanity Conflate Bag? It would be so much easier just to buy one item and get the whole set.

FLUX, the likes on comments reset every few hours/day :)
I'm not the largest fan of the price of each piece being 125 since, as mentioned before, these are not boutique special so why should they cost the same as boutique? I like that you can pick and choose what you want, but as someone who would prefer to have a full set.. I really miss the ability of getting a full set & then trading for a full set I actually liked. That being said I need a few pieces and hope that these stick around for maybe a black friday sale? ;)

I also find it odd people complaining about the price tags are usually the same folks who drop 700 csc for one CW.

thanks for not doing the magazines, I usually only want 1-2 items from each set and I always get 3-4 of the same stupid sets (the least unpopular, too). This way is soooooo much better.

due to the time the artists and staff have taken to plan this event, design the clothes,Im thankful(they listen to us nag, complain but yet whether we are happy or upset they try to do their best. I choose not to nitpick especially during this event because I would rather be positive!
I bought all the stuff i wanted, was it expensive? yes..but really compared to buying clothes from cw's,where slots can range from 300 csc to 700 csc, I think 125 is decent, maybe pricey overall(for what i bought) however I got alot of items vs buying all cw's. I have only one complaint--
IM FRIGGIN BROKE!! ON CSC AND SP!!! ;) BUT IM HAPPY WITH MY STUFF!!!

Also miss the 'Vanity' name, because the sets tend to blend nicely together. All that said, there are some really pretty and unique pieces here which I'll be sure to pick up.

This is great if you liked to pick up only a couple of pieces here and there, but as someone who likes to try and collect ALL of them it's a bit of a kick in the teeth. Especially when there's items where it's hard to justify the price of inidividually, like the more basic guy shorts and tops which realistically I'm probably never going to wear, yet were still nice to receive in a set.

Oh look, more expensive cash shop items that I won't be buying! I don't want to pay so much more for the privilege of choosing what I want as half the fun of it was trading for sets you wanted. Shame there's not an option to get a random set for less credits :/ Not amused by all these gorgeous wears being so incredibly expensive - what happened to releasing trunks etc :( I miss them!

Can we please get Vanity back in the name, it makes it so much easier to find these specifically styled sets.
Also, I hated chance bags, but if our other option is a price hike, let's go back. :( *adds to the -wait for sale- pile*

Not a fan of this method at the prices they are now for all the reasons others have stated before me. ;l I get moving away from a magazine, which was unfortunately a book item, but you could have placed these in a fashion bag and then the book collectors wouldn't have been rubbed the wrong way. And eliminated the chance factor by letting us choose the set we wanted if this was really about eliminating chance (and then maybe raised the price to 300 - 400). But at 125 per item across the board? No, thank you. This feels like the boutique when it really isn't in the sense that it's not in the boutique. I don't see what makes the boutique special anymore if almost every other wearable in the cash shop follows suit with 125+ csc per item. /shrugs

The new clothes are really pretty (loving the ease and opulent sets!) - but I'm on the fence about the new system. I too will miss having Vanity in the name, as it provided an easy way to find the various sets. Plus I'm not sure that removing the chance factor warrants a doubling in price. After all, trunks contain 2-3 times the number of pieces for the same price that one of these sets would cost now (not to mention the various boutique bags that had 3-4 items for 250csc and yet weren't chance based). Even when it was a chance based system, I didn't spend double to collect all of the sets, because I was generally able to trade at least a few of them. Perhaps there could be some sort of discount for buying full sets (or multiple sets), like the delish/viv boutique works.

I love the Inure top and skirt but I wish it was just a dress, since it layers that way.

Luv the sets, but it would be nice to have a chance bag for them, it was cheaper to get a set. Some of us don't have a lot of money a month to spend

How about we bring back the magazines and Vanity in the names, but instead of a random set, you get to pick a set.

I would honestly really prefer if they had Vanity in their name so I could find them in my bottomless pit of wardrobe.

I do like that we can pick and choose what items we want, but I wish they still had 'Vanity' in the names just for consistency.

Finally, Cash Shop stuff! :D Now that's what I'm talking about! (love the SBQ makeup too - got some earlier!)

No wait it is double haha it's late how do numbers.
Nevermind. 100 would have been nicer, but 500 isn't that bad.

All that aside...The Inae is one of the most stunning sets on this site!!! I think it almost trumps any piece of CW clothing I own (which isn't much...XD)!!!

I do feel like 100 a pop would have been a better price per piece (random was 250, this is more than double that) in regards to the avid wearable collector (I imagine those who picked up the cheaper pieces just because they're cheaper, won't bother anymore) (I wouldn't lol), which is probably the target market for most CS wears.
100 or 125 doesn't so much bother me though, usually I only need a handful of shoes/the odd jacket or scarf so I'm personally very glad for this change; it always felt like the three things I did want were the most popular/expensive anyways. I do feel for those who collect though, as this route will definitely cost more.
Bless the end of the Vanity books, though. 2013 about killed me with collection/challenger/vanity/fringe books + everything else.

I love how you can pick the items you want, even if it is a little more expensive. Maybe I have shit luck, but the half dozen times I used the vanity magazines, I always got the sets myself nor anyone else wanted. It's hard to "trade" sets when no one wants what you have to trade or if the sets you do want are twice the price of the sets you have. At the end of the day, I'll pay for convenience.

Damon
Well look at it this way... they are the same prices per piece as the Boutique set items only you have less items per set AND no wig. (which would be 250csc) granted yes to some it's more expensive, but at least for those who might not have amazing luck with Vanity mags you can at least get pieces you want without the hassle?

Not exactly thrilled about this new system, as it means things cost a bit more. I prefer the old system where you could buy the entire set, instead of paying for each item individually. Also don't like how the new system doubles the cost of buying the whole set. Lovely items though.

Buying a 4 item set is now double the price than what you would've paid trying to get the set out of a magazine... :/

@Ferinsy I'm not sure what you mean? These are all new items that, if we were still doing the book method, would be in the vanity magazine. Since they are not, however, we don't have the name 'vanity' in them.
The items in the cash shop right now with 'vanity' in the name will be retired on September 30th!

I find this way with the new clothes is much more expensive :( Way expensive :( I'm glad the glosses are back, though. Some have been on my WL for a long time

Pretty items, I do like the old magazines better though. There was always potential to just trade for the sets you wanted, so it wasn't really that hard to get the sets. You still see people that look to trade for other sets from other magazines!

I like the new system, I never got the set I wanted, at least this way I get the pieces I want the most! They are lovely!

Ferinsy
Are these the old Vanity items but without Vanity in the name? Because if that's the fact, would be possible to have 2 of the same items in the WR, just the name would be different

Here's an idea... wait until Black Friday when everything goes on sale ! That's what I'll do. But I gobbled up some lip stains because NEED

The old Vanity sets may have been random, but (speaking for myself) I never had any problem trading my duplicate sets for other ones I wanted.

Paramour
I second Reaper. It's so much more headache at the random chance of getting the one set out of five that you want.
0
Reaper
I don't care that it technically costs more per piece - the vanity magazine always gave me multiples of the same set I didn't want and I spent 3x as much trying to get the one I did want. This is better. Thank you.
I would like to see what those few broken items look like though :P

A few of the images appear to be broken, and "Core shorts" doesn't have the word Shorts capitalized, like item names normally are. (Just posting since it looks like Amber's hanging about here. :))

Flux - Vanity gives you a random set of items though, so you weren't getting the chance to buy what you specifically wanted.
