I absolutely love your story! I had a little ferret named Chloe and she was the tiniest thing.. but we had to get rid of her because I was so stressed out with my pregnancy and my husband working a lot. I miss her and hope to find another little missy.. one I will have time for and kidlets to help. :)
This story was so sweet. I could picture every scene you described and feel the affection put into every word. Reading that poem at the end actually healed my soul a little as I have been consumed by mourning the loss of my dog, Taco, who passed on the first of this month. Thank you so much for including that poem. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who needed to hear those beautiful words.
Thank you all soooooo much for the kind words! I am so happy that she finally won so more people could learn about this little sweetie! I still miss her dearly, but having a tribute pet here helps. That way, I can still see her everyday. :3 And I am super thankful for the custom overlay feature. The angel pherret is beautiful, but being able to login and see FEONA staring at me just warms my heart. <3

Congratulations on the well deserved win. I definitely started to tear up at the end. It's funny how pets just.. know things. They choose a person, they love them. It's very true that you don't choose your pets- they choose you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep her in your heart, your ferret guardian angel is watching over you and her little brother.
