CSC Bonus Weekend!
The Cash Shop is having a bonus this weekend just in time to get some last minute Luminaire shopping in! Any and all CSC you purchase from now until December 22nd at noon, with Stripe or Paypal, will be increased by 20%!
With this increase, you’ll be rewarded an item with every purchase! If you use Paypal, you will receive a Gilded Turquoise Cloak and if you use Stripe you will receive a Warm Citrine Sweater!

@tanhayeegrl I think it says it may take 3-5 days to show up in their system, but if you bought it today it should be processed for today's date so you should get the bonuses. It usually takes at most 24 hours to process a payment on subeta, and subeta would have it in their system as you made the purchase today so even if you don't end up getting the bonus, you would be able to file a ticket and get it.
I've never used paypal for making a purchase like CSC before so I'm not 100% certain how it works, but just like using a credit card it always says it may take 3-5 days to appear on the statement, though it usually processes it immediately.

That cloak! I really love that cloak. I don't know if I have the money for Subeta right now though. I will see. I haven't spent money on here in ages, so I shouldn't feel guilty about spending too much.

Make a Site Feedback thread. Explain the reason why you feel you are entitled to bonuses. Don't make a ton of work for staff just because you think it will get you what you want.

To demand/expect a reimbursement because you missed out on something by a couple hours/24 hours seems a bit childish? I don't know, I bought my CSC yesterday and whilst I'm seriously bummed out that I missed out on the bonus CSC, I don't care much for the items, I would /never/ file a ticket demanding to get something I'm not entitled to have. That's just the way the cookie crumbles for me this time around. There will be many more times in the future to snag some bonus CSC so I'm not going to get my undies in a twist over this one time.
The only thing constant complaining is going to do is get bonuses taken away. The bonuses are there as an incentive for users who aren't purchasing to purchase, and those who are, to purchase more. Hence a lovely cloak sitting in my inventory after my wonderful self-rant about not buying anymore CSC with real cash. You win this round Subeta. ;) Thanks for the bonus items and the bonus CSC, now my pet can be quick trained again. My fingers and sanity thank you.

Seems there must be an error, as I did make a purchase with Stripe & didn't get my bonus item. Do see that PayPal users got both bonus items (was going to make a PayPal purchase later this weekend to get both items). I sure didn't get my sweater.

@Wolf_Spirit this IS the announcement warning/beforehand they are making. It's for the weekend which hasn't even technically started yet. If they made this announcement earlier then more people would be complaining about spending csc before THAT announcement so it's a bit unreasonable to be upset by this and expect some type of reimbursement for a problem that is actually unavoidable.
Also you are not "out" csc by this :c you bought what you expected to get and got what you expected at the time of your own purchase. This isn't inconveniencing you in any way, shape, or form.

even if they did give a warning there would always be someone who purchased before the warning by a few hours/days.

@Wolf_Spirit ~ Unfortunately, it's not a guarantee that if more people speak out, it will change the situation, it doesn't always work out that way. It has happen to me as well, many times. The difference between you and I may be, that, my intentions were to contribute to the site anyway, with or without the bonus. If a bonus is offered, it is something nice to receive. Yes, maybe they could have done an announcement prior to the bonus being released but, there will always be someone who made a purchase prior to the announcement, so this will never end.
Paypal never works for me, I always have to file a ticket 10 days after purchase and I use the same credit card as stripe. This is the first time I did not get my bonus gift with Stripe although I got my csc immediately.

@Wolf_Spirit ~ Not to be rude. However, if they reimburse credits/rewards to users for today's purchases (prior to this offer coming out) would that be fair to others in the past, who have made purchases prior to other bonuses being offerd and didn't receive the reimbursement? ~ :) ~
The more tickets people send in, the better the chance of us getting the bonuses added to our accounts (hopefully!)! Just make sure the purchases were within the 24 hour time period to the time of this news post!

Thank you for offering the bonus csc and free items with purchase :) The cloak is pretty, but the sweater looks so nice and cozy that I think I like it better than the cloak.
I think it doesn't hurt to file a ticket if you've purchased the CSC in the past 24 hours. I'm not sure if they've reimbursed for it in the past, but I mean couldn't hurt to try.

@Tigtorres buying items doesn't count the point to this bonus is if you buy CSC with money.
Of course paypal has the bonus item I want. This always happens. Lol. Why does paypal always get the nicer item?
