I'm going to try and complete 110 games of Pete says today. Hopefully that will make a good dent in it. :)
HALLELUJAH I AM SALTY. I'm going to try to keep playing so we can get the bar up to the green area and hopefully get the extra prizes at the end of the plot, but it's so much better without the extra pressure of trying to get to 50. :)

submit those pete scores above 10, even if you're maxed out on score submissions! every game submitted above 10 counts as one point towards the goal! :)
I keep dying on level 23. It's always level 23. Not 22, not 24 not 12 or 10 or anything else. 23. 23 is now a cursed number.
For everyone conplaining about the sp smelter, if you do Pete's, Wizard's and Library quests, you'll porbably have enough to at least donate 100k.
Drop 100k if you can't drop 500k, every amount helps. It's a community thing. If you do that for 5 days, that is the same amount as dropping 500k in one day. I'm pretty sure Subeta will be fair in what we as members can contribute.
I hope we don't have to make it to level 50 on Pete's game in order to go to the next part of the event.

Also, anyone else have the issue of it not counting levels? I clearly got past level 20 & 25 but it didn't count or do the achievement thing. What a waste :/
I got to 49 did it and the page refreshed on its own, so I'm officially done trying to get the 50 I'm not having that happen again. GL to those still trying. I found it easier to go by the color initials until the site messed me up.
I feel like staff could've made it more clear that the green bars are for the whole site.
I literally went out and bought hundreds of items to donate to Charity so that my green bar would fill up because I thought that everyone had their own bar.

It literally takes FOREVER to get the higher end achievements for Pete. Like, just sitting there, trying to get to 50... I failed at 33, but it took a half hour to get to that! I do not have the focus to spend an hour on one attempt to get that last achievement. I might keep trying to help the progress bar, but... the time commitment is too strong with this one. Even WITH writing the colors down.
I'm assuming the Salty achievement is lvl 50 but whats 20? I'm going to keep contributing to the community overall but wondering if the frustration is worth trying for 20 because I don't care about Forum Titles
this has got to be the most frustrating game in all game history, oh my god. i don't think i'll ever bother with the salty achievement. i managed 26 yesterday. it's so slow!! but at the same time if it were any faster it'd be impossible. i feel like i'm at 25 when in reality i've only hit 10. jfc.

I got it and I'd never played this game as a kid but I hate it now that I have. What level achievement do we have to beat to move on with the plot? 10 or 15?
I am so confused how to do Pete's game and I checked the Forum Guide and?? You can't click the ones lit up but it seems that every time I click one it lights up after the first click. I don't understand this thing. Its prob the simplest thing too Lol

Keep donating to Charity, smelter sp every day and play Petes game! There will be special rewards at the end of the plot if we succeed to fill up the bars! (Read it in the forum)
Made it to level 52 before my finger slipped on 41 of 53..., should have gone slower and not gotten cocky after hitting 50. Oh well, got the achievements, so its all good. I love memory games.

And if you're a dork like me and sing the colors as notes even more so XD (my sound isn't hooked up so I can't hear the actual notes being played) I broke them down into patterns of 3 or 4 and then put three groups together as a group of ten. Like:

and on and on...

Staff: Have I said how much I'm appreciating this fun summer event? Even though I had to skip that darn boat race, I hate the controls for Pirate Panic (both of them) and Pete is making not only my head hurt, but I feel an excessive need to punch him in the face... multiple times, I am enjoying this immensely.

ughhh… even with cheating (aka writing down the order on a piece of paper) i only got to level 42 before hecking up >:0 i told myself i wouldn't do it but… i want that salty achievement!!!!!!
Reached Level 32 and died. ;_; I think I need to go cry for a little bit before I can attempt this again.
I now see, hear and taste colours...which is made all the more better a condition by 'The P Word' as the game prize along with the last two titles involved XD

I also figured something out. DO NOT TRY TO BE QUICK ABOUT IT. Seriously if there is a double color (like: red purple purple blue) you have to click it twice slowly and give it time to register that it's been clicked. I've died twice now because I tried to double click. Save yourselves, it's too late for me.

Omg Pete, honey bunches of Pete. You're game is probably the most infuriating thing I've ever seen and that includes the 'find 250 ghosts' gravedigger game, even while writing them down. I guess I wrote it down funny. I drew out the game and then just put 1,2,3,etc in the correct section. So I could keep my place by saying the numbers in my head. XD Oh well I got to 50 either way. :P
Ugh. Got through 50 rounds. I never want to play this game again lmao. (A tip for others: don't think/say/write down/whatever the food item or full colour name, just use R/B/Y/G/P. That's about as quick and easy as you can make getting to round 50 haha)

Grrr...The steps to the plot are too short. Oh well, at least I can use the time to catch up on game achievements. Oh and the 50 achievement on the Pete game? It's times like this when I wish I had photographic memory.

@Athenesic, the forums are a good place to get info as to what the next steps are, but the haiku you're given leads you to another NPC. You have to figure out which NPC that is, pay them a visit, go back to Alexander (if I remember correctly), and keep going. If I remember correctly, there were 3 haikus to solve and 3 NPCs to visit to complete that step.
Okay I am really confused! When I click on the "visit me" link it leads me to Conner telling me the same thing he said on the 17th. That I have to talk to Alexander about translating the book. I already did that on the 17th. It leads me to the haiku. There doesn't seem to be anymore I can do with Alexander.

Hmm--is anybody else who's been donating noticing a little bit of color coming back to their HAs? Mine just has a little bit of orange in the flame on the bottom left as of now. Not for sure if this is event-related or just a bug of some sort... I'll keep an eye on it and see if it's just coming back with time or if it will actually get more color the more I donate!

so on completing todays stuff, according to the achievements you are meant to get the book 'The P Word' but i got the achievement but not the item :( any admins/mods who could look into this?

Glad to see that once you get the last achievement you can go back to Pete to keep playing. :) Now to go for all the tiers!

If you refresh Darkside, eventually one of the spirits from Pirate Panic will appear randomly on the map.
Is the offerings monitor on the news page community based? Is the one in Charity's community based or individual? Essentially I'd like to know what each bar is for :)
Pete Says was fun but I didn't manage to get more than level 11 and I sent my score. Is there no way to go back to the game to try to get the other tiers? :(
I kinda think there should be a way to skip the Recycle Beast step. Not everyone may have the resources for that and it appears to be a crucial plot step.
I know it will take me some time to complete this game, I think so anyway. I have trouble remembering stuff... @User not found: _@ (I'm one of the most forgetful people you'll meet, lol!)
