Reborn Ontra Revamp
This may have been the year of the Harvest pets, but this little reborn ontra wanted to get in on the Fireside action with an update to its look!

I absolutely love the art and detail in this, especially how the fire was drawn <3
I love the whisp of fire going down his back and his lovely detail, but those dang ears still look glued on to me.
I loved the old one but the revamp is great too; I really appreciate how Goth captured the dynamism of the original, and with the revamp being more sensitive to the lighting from the fire it only heightens the sense of motion.
BUT the revamp of the Sun Ontra had blue eyes where it used to have gold. Was really hoping for my Momo to have gold eyes in at least one color.
The pose is so much better its not even funny.

I think if the Ontra was a dark red like the Anyu then golden would work great but for this brighter orange, blue is actually complementary.
tbh i prefer blue eyed reborn pets over golden eyed ones

Wow this looks awesome. I actually like it a lot more than the old version. The flames look better, the pose, the shading, all of it! Great job!

@Wolf_Spirit Your opinion would sound better if you stopped saying "should" and start saying something more towards "I think they would look better with golden eyes." The way you say it makes it sound like it's a demand instead of an opinion. Just a friendly suggestion :)

I never noticed that the reborn ontra had blue eyes! O_o That's a little odd lol! It's still gorgeous but they should have golden eyes!

I like this a lot! I'm super glad it lost the awkward pseudo-anthro look of the old one, and I really like the changes to the pose. The shading seems almost a little subdued compared to other reborn pets but it's still super pretty, I am not disappointed. I like the movement of the fire a lot, the dynamic pose in general, and dem feets. I love the feets.
Seriously considering making one of my pets, who has spent almost his entire life as an arid ontra because he's supposed to be an ontra but NOTHING FITS, into one of these.. tho I'm also content to wait patiently for more ontra revamps, Just In Case haha. Super pleased with how much attention this species has been getting now!
