Manchu Revamp Live!
After much deliberation and a large-scale program dedicated to capturing and rejuvenating the population - my fellow Islanders and I are proud to bring forth the new and improved manchu! Whilst still as tricky and playful as ever, the manchu is a much more respectable representation of our island culture. Well, apart from the feces flinging.
The manchu is also now available in both cherry and silver. How delightful.

Adding a bit of input to the "fat-or-not" topic, because I actually love seeing such an interesting and educated debate!
@Wolf_Spirit -- If you look in the photo, the brown area of the side isn't where the body ends; there's still the white belly, underneath, which is still pretty pudgy! I can definitely see how it can be confusing, though!
Also interesting to note in this photo is how their waist/belly, proportionately, is much thinner than their chest/shoulder area. They have such quirky shapes and proportions!
@Laurey -- It may be worth mentioning that the animal in your photo is actually either dangerously overweight (which is very possible, if it's a captive lemur), or potentially pregnant; in either case, the proportions of the belly are not "typical" for a ring-tailed lemur! All the same, though, lemurs DO have a belly! (Just not this much of one!)

holy christ why are people pissing about how fat the thing is. it's an animal, some animals have different proportions. even if it wasn't accurate to real life - which it is lmao - it's a fantasy animal in a fake game and the artist can make it look like whatever they want??

I was kind of amazed looking back at the old version, at how nice and new this version looks! I think it's particularly nice/interesting that it's not longer a sort-of-part-flying-squirrel-lemur XD; Nicely done if you ask me, not too fat not too thing, and not different enough that anyone should perform any Manchu-esque responses ;)

Huge improvement on the proposed revamp, especially in the face/expression! These are all wonderful. I'm glad to see that the manchu's personality was kept intact, too!

Oh my gosh, this is completely gorgeous in every way!! I really liked the little spidery lemur-hands in the originally-proposed revamp, but the more "lively" pose with this one is great, too! It's just so beautiful! So happyyy!!
Will all of the other colors be getting revamps (e.g. Nostalgic)? Or, just the older colors (e.g. Glade, Angelic)?
Also, if they do get a Subetapedia article, a few of my friends and I thought it might be cool if they did "stink-fights" (or a similar, more mystical and Subeta-style equivalent) instead of "feces-flinging"!
Lemurs aren't monkeys, and they don't throw their feces -- they are, however, super endangered animals that really need some help and awareness, and we worry that giving them such a negatively-perceived trait can still have a subconscious affect on how people view them! I know Subeta isn't involved in conservation, but it would still be interesting if we could do a little bit to try and help! :) Just a thought we figured was worth contributing!!
