We'd like to invite you to The Bathhouse of Shengui Guo, which is the only place you'll be able to adopt a brand new zentu of your own! Ying, the Bathhouse Proprietor, has been readying the building for your arrival - and although she's currently only opening up the Zentu Baths to you, she promises more rooms in the future. Very soon you'll be able to change your existing pets into zentus and collect zentu-themed items and learn about zentu lore - but for now, a great welcome to our newest pet!
Be aware that zentus are grandiose creatures. They require the utmost respect and honor to become loyal to you. To bring one home, you'll have to bestow some beautiful jewelry upon it! Something that... glitters.
Also, you may have noticed there are two zentus at the top of this post. That's because zentus are very much connected to the night and day, and their common color will be different depending upon what time they were created in Shengui Guo. Will you adopt one now, or wait for the changing light?

I tried to use a chibi potion, and it wouldn't work. I then tried the glade, and that wouldn't work either.
These are truly beautiful! It's the first time I feel like transforming ALL of my pets and having a stampede of Zentu! :heart:
I luff the whole Ghibli feel to the bathhouse, and I think I already know which of my pets is volunteering to transform ;)

After almost eight years content with just one pet on Subeta, I have now found the pet which has shaken things up for me! Thrilled with my Zentu and cannot wait to adopt another one :)

Can someone help me out and pm me what jewelry works, or at least a better hint? I have wasted so much sp/USD trying items that fit the description 'glittering'. At least the items I can find >_<

I'm really interested to know how the common potion is going to affect them. Like if I get one at night time then change it to a marsh then decide to change it back to common, am I going to get the purple or pink common zentu? Is it going to go back to the way I originally adopted it or is that also dependent on the time of day that I use the common potion on it?
the art for these is beautiful! there were a million better names on the poll and i'm disappointed this pet got saddled with "zentu," but at least it's frickin gorgeous

I was just scrolling down like 'oo look at that...oh no wait that...WAIT THAT ONE' because all those color palates are AMAZING
Not a fan of the name but kudos to the artist because these new pets are gorgeous. I now need to get another pet slot on top of the other I was already hoping to get and I can't decide between 2 of the colors.
Found 2 of them in the pound so I adopted them :heart:.

Since you can only get pet slots with cash points and I pretty much have none to speak of my chances of adopting a Zentu are um...zero? Ah well, the new bath house will still be fun.
Okay, so these were worth the wait. Now I see why they drew it out so long :D
One of these will be my next one I'm after once I get another slot. Hopefully there will be a contest or something offering them again, else I'll be waiting a year :/

Wow! Those are lovely! I'm glad they aren't all cutesy. Some pets are just a bit too cutesy and I'm glad these did not end up that way. I wish I could get one, but pet slots....*sigh* Those aren't gonna get cheaper are they? Or not cost RL money when the 15 you can buy with points run out? Please? I guess I'll just admire them, and most of the other pets, from afar :( But kudos to the artist. I love how soft and blended the colors are and each one has such depth to it. Really a gorgeous pet.

i??? don't like this design, particularly? mainly because it's literally an elephant but with pretty armor
then again, there's a number of other pets with similarly bland designs that i strongly dislike (bovyne, ruffie, etc), so i'm probably in the minority.
