I love the pattern, and really nice colours!

I really like these. They look androgynous to me? I'm not sure why some people are complaining that they're too girly and others are complaining they're not girly enough. I make male HAs, but androgynous or feminine ones after my own style tastes. I think I'll get a lot of use out of these. I like this kind of extra accent piece for my HAs. I do agree that the hanging part looks a bit stiff where it's folded, though, but I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out, so I think it's fine. :)

not my cup of tea, but i guess it's nice for people who liked the
line. still, sort of wish it was positioned higher on the waist or something like that. Never used the patterned sashes ever bc they sat too low and i just hated that it dangled off the side like that

Yes! I love the original so much, it's become one of my favorite belts. I'm so happy to see it in more colors. :D
(And don't tell me this is too piratey to be released outside of Keelhauliday. I already had to wait through revamp month and pattern month for this. :P)

these are amazing!! Looks like I need to become better at catching restocks if I want these pretties!
@fashionisto This isn't a Suggestion thread, so why or why not it matters to me is irrelevant. As if whatever i opine automatmagically happens here exactly as I say and all staff artists should run in fear, you are silly. You are asking to be querulous as if you can't read the reasons already granted or as if you can and they just don't rate with you. Either way, I refuse to answer further.
Everything wearable in Subeta is girly. The HA is unformed and chibi so even things that are usually assigned a gender of neutral or masculine by most observers in RL, they look either more feminine or childish or both here in Subeta. Most of the waist-sashes seen in google image search that look like these waist-sashes, they're on men. If you want to wear them on your female HA form, go for it.

@Solsticesprite why does it matter so much what these are called? i believe subeta staff and 'Tique designers have the right to name their items as they're pleased, no matter what the users think of that.
these sashes are very girly and not pirate-y at all o.o
if anything, they look more like stuff Gypsy girls would wear.

i love these sashes! they look super versatile and great for layering and certainly aren't 'pirate-y' haha. i want them in a zillion more colors x3

You can have sashes outside of pirates, @Solsticesprite. These sashes in particular are a knockoff of a line from the SBQ (cece's kat line), and summer is generally a time we do revamps/knock off of popular items/etc. :)

@Ravel I went and looked using your compound term and this worked, thank you. But that's just it, it's a compound idea and needed the extra word to show up in searches. The itemname needs to show this, IMO so they should be called waist sashes. It's not like there aren't really longnamed items in Subeta like the Creamiest Creamy Cream Cream Pie or Raspberry Lolly Impersonating a Peppermint.
There's a whole array of things in the search result that are waist-sashes, and only some of them are costumey/piratey like this. Most waist sashes in Subeta are the costumey/piratey kind. These items do belong next month.
Wedding dresses have these ornamented jeweled belts that for some reason get called sashes so the word sash is being given a good workout.

@Solsticesprite Practically everyone I've ever spoken to treats 'cloth belt' and 'sash' as interchangeable terms. I've also read fashion textbooks and played numerous videogames that use the term that way as well, so it's not just a subeta thing. Evidently 'immediately recognizable' got prioritized over 'pedantically accurate' when it came to what term was chosen here.
but that aside, these items are just gorgeous. They are exactly what I need, and I wil be snapping them up with the ferocious enthusiasm of approximately 11 hungry bull sharks

the color and art are great, and i appreciate more items that cover the crotch without being too low/bulky, but the shape and placement of the hanging part doesn't look too good to me unfortunately. i wish it would just go straight down or wasn't even there at all tbh.

It is a petty annoyance of mine that these get called sashes in Subeta. If you Google Image 'sash' you don't get anything like this. I admit if you dictionary it you get that a sash can go around the waist. Even then, they don't look like this they're more of an obi sorta thing. This kind of garment is more pirate-y than anything and it's weird to see outside of Keelhauliday.
It's a cloth belt.
