So, I got this letter. Says there’s some kind of adventure going on and I should join up on the expedition? I have to admit, with the girls back to school, I’m finding myself with a lot of free time on my hands. The thing is, I’m not sure which team I should join.
It’s no big deal to close the shop for a while, and I know the summer camp that my girls go to can always use more supplies, so how about we organize some kind of Donation Drive for them? They could always use more sporting supplies and toiletries for kids. I’ll join whichever team is able to organize the most donations by the end of today.

Sorry its my comments 3 in a row again but honestly there's a single problem with events like these and its that the shops never stock enough, and people inflate the prices on the items like crazy to the point its harder to get them in bulk to help our team
Is this just a one time thing with Wesley, or will we do it everyday with same or different items?
Also, Wesley, are you sure you wouldn't like some nice big shiny orange Pumpkins? I've got a ton of those, free of charge, just eating a hole in my vault. I can make it worth your while
....Can we not call Team Sagi Team Gold? Because the colour for Team Steele is gold and the colour for Team Sagi is purple. It's massively confusing. :x

imo i think wesley should have joined gold by default because blake has a food depletion advantage already (though as other people have pointed out saggi doesn't seem to be eating as much as i expected) and at the same token, team steele should get some sort of money bonus/person by default to make up for the lack of money payout. unless "adventuring" is its own reward in terms of a forum title or some other currency at the end, it's gonna suck for those on team steele if they spent all this sP on the event and don't get anything in return.
besides that, though, this event is shaping out to be pretty decent! i like it!

Team Steele got an early lead because Team Gold was stuck in an avalanche and fighting it when the wesley thing started.

Actually, staff has said that both teams are fairly even in terms of member count. And anyway, the numbers displayed on the page could already be manipulated by some formula that they're using to get the score, we just don't see it.

@Anne I mean that we had an early lead, not an early start, sorry. From the start we had a small lead above you guys and it's just sort've grown, probably due to our numbers. I do totally agree these team based games should be based off percentages, though :( Reminds me of the Snowman building contest.

Doesn't team Blake have like far more people than Saggi? Shouldn't the counter depend on percentage instead or something
Actually, Wesley's help doesn't even seem to be that needded, if enough users play the game instead of throwing millions of items to this guy. (Those items one could actually sell, make much money of it and use it for the following assignments of the plot. )
But that's just my business.

Not that I don't want him on my team, but do the bonuses even matter? Team Gold is supposed to be burning through food faster, but we have yet to fall below 98%. We also haven't gotten any kind of sP payouts yet, so I don't understand how these bonuses are supposed to work.
@Kellijuana I don't see either, but in the future, who knows... Plus, if Team Blake takes the buff, we'll be pumped as hell, 'cause we already run out of food slower, so if at some part of the plot food is essential, it'd be a nice advantage against Saggi
I gotta say, after seeing that basically the ONLY thing to do for this on the first day (unless you were lucky enough to be on during an obstacle) was to gather food for the team, I don't see how running out of food/energy slower is even actually going to happen. It seems to me as long as someone is on replaying that hunting game (which is everyone who can whenever they can) we're all good. So what exactly does team Blank get for an advantage? lol That said, I still am liking the plot, I can't wait to see how it unfolds, and I'm hoping that our slower energy loss comes more heavily into play at some point so that giving up the sP advantage makes more sense... But if not meh, que sera sera ^_^ TO BATTLE!!! :D thank you for the challengers!

What 5 things? It says complete 5. I fought the spider, I donated, and I played the food game...What other 2? And it shows I only completed 2. This lag and 502 errors makes me not want to participate.
I know this sounds stupid but I do not know what color I am. Could someone let me know what each color represents.
Items from the Grooming Parlor and Toy Box will work for donations. You do not necessarily have to buy the items from the shops - if you have any in your inventory or vaults, those would work too

I semi-disagree but see your perspective on it. I would say yeah that none of the islanders are super better morally, but Merana is definitely not great. And I'd say saggi isn't in the wrong and neither is the team but I really feel like Wesley would have an issue with supporting Merana considering his girls.

I didnt need "an island monsoon" to slow me down. The lag on this sight all day has me at a CRAWL!!

I don't think that's really fair. All of the islanders worship Merana, including Matlal. The main crux of this plot is whether or not collecting the gold will be the right choice because it calms Merana, or if it will be the wring choice because it causes a curse. So I don't think anyone's moral compass will be coming into play as of right now. There's currently no right or wrong side here, although I'm sure that will change further down the plot.
