Merana Returns With Hydrus Quests!
Hello, I’m Titania McGee with Channel 5 News, your best source for up-to-date information.
Merana has been located off the southern coast of Veta. Currently it’s not thought that she’s an immediate threat, but she’s being monitored while authorities look further into the situation and decide upon what action to take.
Right now, it appears that she’s being spotted on somewhat random days from the coastlines of the Subetan lands. She’s appearing for 12 hours at a time, always appearing and disappearing on the hour. It’s believed that her current appearance will only last until midnight ST tonight, however.
Users are able to complete Merana’s hydrus pet quests in the time she’s visible, but once she leaves the map the quest is automatically quit. It is believed that her power is currently limited, and she must retreat back to the ocean to recharge, but we have not had a confirmation of this from Merana herself.

Lol. I feel silly too. I thought this was just a one time appearance. There was a picture of her on the map. That's how I located her this morning.

She only appears every 12 hours. I was able to get three pets this morning. Also, it says in the news comment she'll only be here until midnight tonight , EST (Subeta time).

sooo how do you locate her. I don't think I'm going to need a pet color change soon but it would be nice to know in the future XD
The hydrus zasaba is beautiful and very alien looking. Still trying to decide what to use my free pet slot for. Hmmm. Also still waiting for a reborn mahar, darn.

Yay! Finally was able to turn Dren Hydrus. I'm going to have to change his profile now since it doesn't match.
Thank you, I would have posted sooner but I raced off to make Shukura Hydrus first. Just a pity that I missed out on the event that lead to her taking off.
And here I was hoping she might play a part in this year's Survival, ah well. Nice to have Hydrus colors available again!

I'm fairly new to the site and I had a Scribble Sheeta that I spent 1 million on. I clicked on this quest not knowing that it would change my pet. I'm so sad now. -_-
