AHHHH congrats Carmen on winning the spotlight! Now Kanika gets to be added to your list of winners. ♥️♥️ The artwork is just gorgeous (especially the jewelry bits). I love all of the Egyptian themes, and I especially love this line from the story "To Kanika, it was far more enjoyable to be outside under the watchful gaze of the sun and in the company of the common people." as the idea of being under the sun correlates to her minion Ra, the Sun God of Egyptian mythology. (And the "scrab" being scarab-esque is particularly fitting of Khepri's aspect of Ra too! Very nice!) I also love her TC; it's so appropriately-themed. You did a great job on consistency here Carmen, it looks absolutely stellar!!
