I love pieces of the witch set, but like others have already said, the proportions and placements of several pieces is just.... Strange.

I love the big over the top bow, ideal for lumi and turning my HA in a huge present.
Not to keen on the rest of the witch set, the proportions seem weird.

I really want to like the witch set and I do like the individual pieces, but the body proportions of it all together are just too off. I understand the current HA base is constraining, but with a set like this I feel you should do more to try to deal with that (have the back bow cut in perhaps?) rather than just accept the now waaaaayyyy oversized upper torso as an immutable object. Limb replacements seem to just be trending tinnier and tinnier and at some point it's too far to work without body replacement.
IDK, obviously some people still dig it and I'm glad it works for them, but for me it would have to be a piecemeal thing. Still like the style for that!

Coming back to this, maybe my earlier comment was a little harsh? Anyway I just wanna say again I love the art on these. I just happen to love them more apart than together.

i agree, the arms of the celestial set look off because the HA faces to our left but it looks like the HA's left arm (the kissing one) is angled right? i do appreciate new poses tho, all the items look great!

The Lycanthrope art is so freaking gorgeous! If you use the darkest brown skin tone it gives the overall look some ‘texture’... I love it! And need it ALL! *grabby hands* The Celestial Witch set has some really cute parts that I’ll definitely buy eventually but that kitty and hat are must buys for right now!

Lots of these items look SO lovely on their own ( I need the familiar and eyedrops omg :heartpulse: ) but put together just...don't look right? I gotta agree heavily with everything said by User not found: siellby
Biggest things that stand out to me are that the right glove looks awkward mashed on top of the boob, and the moon on the dress looks almost.....wedged in-between the cleavage on the bustier bases? o.o

Some really cute pieces. I want to like the gloves but they do not line up with the base. Bits of the upper arm show on the left. The right glove smashes into the HA's boob. You can't layer it behind the base because the shoulder lines over it. If you cut off the shoulders there is an empty gap on both. Otherwise, both sets are interesting. I differently am head over heels in love with lunar kitty!

Regarding the arms..
tbh though this is the first year any of the artists (official or CW) have been able to play around with body mods without having to find limb workarounds, so everyone’s learning!

And the witch gloves....really don't fit the base? Even with the lower arms hidden, they just don't fit the shoulders. And the right glove overlaps the chest in a weird way, but I guess it just has to be worn with the dress or something that covers that part of the chest.
It's just a shame that both sets, but especially the lycanthrope set, look like they're very poorly planned, because as I said the art by itself does look really good.
Also in "Lycanthrope Discard Moon Phases Chart" is it supposed to be "discarded"?

I love both sets, I gotta get both, there goes my money.....but I especially gotta get some of those wolfy items, they kinda match my Dog skin I've been using for a werewolf HA! Especially, I need a tail. Ruff!

:) The werewolf set is very well done (I want some of those furry parts), but I'm a stars fan so I would probably go with the celestial if I had to choose. Beautiful work all around guys!

i like the concept for the witch set, but i think it would've been nice to have the wig done in two pieces if possible, so that the longer portion could be layered behind the base and you could keep the shoulders visible :0

@Hamda you are not the only person who sees a wild and murderous crescent moon going tits-stabbing. To me it seems even more pronounced when you are wearing the entire set.

the werewolf one doesn't match the ToT werewolf items, which seems sort of odd, but the main thing that bugs me is that the posing/anatomy on the witch set looks outright broken. that's typical of most body mod items on here i guess but seeing it put all together with the base's left facing skull looks painful.
that said, the item art is all great. wanting some of these for pet treasures alone.

Beautiful sets! But what's with the Celestial hair cutting into the base? Even with the arms layered over it, it still doesn't look right.

Celestial since I need more of that set and am more of an angel lover than a lycan lover.
As much as I love these as a whole, the hair and mouth of need some tweaking. The hair cuts into the shoulders so much that the arms look like they're just hair wearing gloves (but is otherwise stunning). The lips are too far over and I think a bit too angled (I get the idea but it's just off a bit). The winking eye is a pixel lower too but I COMPLAIN TOO MUCH.
I need the cat right away, and the bow + wrap at some point. And the razor, because mutton chops are one of the greatest.

@pointycatears Like I’ve said on a previous news post, we’re spreading things out so we have something Morostide themed every day. :) As we lead up to Halloween, there might be more than one post a day, but it’ll still be balanced well! You’ll just have to see how it plays out.

These are nice, I will probably get the legs so I can make HAs that don't require items with a ground to stand on. And that hair is very tempting.
I thought the makeup cases would be in the same news post, though, and there's only 3 days left and we still have the quest shop items and monthly challenger as well as the quests giving out old items, are you going to be able to manage all that? Or is the quest thing going to last past the end of Morostide?
