I don't think stories are necessarily the only way to portray the character/love I have for a pet - I'm not a very word-minded person, and personally I prefer a small synopsis or presentation that give users a feeling of my pets' character and leave some aspects open to interpretation. I enjoy the open-endedness of my pets' ability to adapt and grow.
Any part of a pets profile can technically be commissioned, including written stories, but I don't think commissioning aspects of your pets profile is any less than doing it yourself. Personally, I have been working on this profile since about mid 2019, and finished to what I felt was a spotlight-worthy entry level about 4 months ago. Those who have seen the progress of his profile know how many adjustments I've made to get it to where it is.
Even commissions are a collaboration between the commissioner and the artist to bring the commissioners' character to life.

Sometimes I don't get the subtle things. I really do not want the wrath of the pet spotlight self appointed gods coming down on me but I'd really like to know.

Congrats! I love the minion and the friends are displayed nicely. The art that looks like a child's drawing is really cute too.
