Not So Friendly Challenger: Vic and Garret
Garret was first. One night, he gathered up everything we’d worked on - schematics, notes, theories, all of it - and burned it all to ashes. Then he locked himself in one of the large workshops. The rest of us were all worried, but it was Victoria who decided to try and snap Garret out of it. That was days ago. Neither one of them has returned, and it certainly sounds like there’s some major construction going on. I’m worried about my friends, obviously, but I’m also worried if I intervene I’ll end up inadvertently doing the bidding of whatever this thing is. Perhaps you could head over to Ziara City and see if you can help them like you’ve helped the others?

I would say this is more of a lore plot than a traditional plot, because we are getting more lore and there is an ongoing story, but it doesn't have activities that you HAVE to do to experience the story and the only prizes are the loot.
The stats are way too high for my little guys, but is this challenger the harbinger of a plot? I love it when there's a plot attached to an event.
Aw yes. Both buddies! Two people! At the same time~ The art like this looks really lovely too! It's so dynamic combined, like they're ready to mess you up. ♥️♥️♥️
Here's hoping that this ramps up to us fighting a whole hoard of possessed folks at the end. ;D

How to find them
Yeah, there's a certain character who I kind of hope will be possessed at some point (beacause I love the mind control trope and I know it sounds weird but I love when it happens to my favourites as long as they're fine in the end) and now I'm wondering how likely that will be and if they'll be possessed along with someone else...

Also, For a second I was gonna say that they were early with the challenger this year, but then I realized that there are only 6 days left of March. XD
But the Puppeteer is pretty clever for controlling Garret and making him destroy the thing that would protect people from them. It's sad though, all that work gone to waste. Also... is it me or does Garret look more confused and apprehensive while Victoria seems to be fully under control. Maybe while multiple people are possessed, the Puppeteer can only put their full effort into controlling one, while the other is semi under control but unable to fight back.
Also, like @Kale said, all the people being controlled are creative and crafty. Maybe from there, we can start guessing who might be next. Though, given that they've gone from cookies to steamwork monsters, the next cash shop monster will be a tough act to follow....

I was not expecting any of the monthly challengers to be more than one person at a time. I wonder if we'll see any other pairings, or even trios. Also, this is a good lore reason for Masq being delayed X)
