@RavensDreams You have to go to your wardrobe and up top you click personal and there is a way to set your avatar border and it shows what you have and have not earned.
I love Tempest so much. I don't even care what she gives me I just want the big ole happy bear hug.
@ChatLunatique it looks like the layering is wrong on the preview page though, the circle with your avatar headshot overlaps the border instead of the other way around.. so you can't see the lightning bolts on the preview page for instance :/

Actually you can see a preview of the border in your wardrobe, under cosmetics. It will show up as "Locked", but you can see what it looks like.

I like it. Too bad it's random so could in reality take years for a random event. Glad to see there also seems to be an achievement for it as well. C'mon Tempie baby, gimme a hug. :)
I’m also excited to see whether there are different colored sparkle borders for this Quest-A-Thon! I’d be really happy with a black or grey one, I’ve stuck with the yellow border as it’s the most neutral one :3

I just got the Tempest event and no border, either. Is the border awarded at random as well?

I think in my 12 years on this site that I've seen Tempest 4 times. The odds are not in my favor for this one. lol.

Sounds like a limited edition super hard one to get. Ah well, at least some borders are easier to get than others.
I got the Tempest Random Event just now, but no border. However, I did get an expensive book that my pet hasn't read yet.
Can't wait to see it as of now the game keeps on asking me to sign in to see my wardrobe even though I am signed in

Here's hoping the random event gods are kind to me. I love these borders.
@EmilyMae She has a higher percentage of showing up on Mondays, when it's raining around Subeta, but it's random she can want to play with yo anytime, but you have to click on the event.
@Sap, go to your wardrobe and click on the personal tab at the top, then choose cosmetics. All of the borders will be there, and you can apply any that you've earned.

By working to earn I mean doing something a certain number of times, or collecting specific items or something. Also, I guess it's a good thing you can't use the Tempest Lightning Rod for this or they would inflate in price.
aww it's like the stormy clouds are giving our HAs a big hug ^^ so appropriate <3 love it! hopefully Tempest wants a hug from me soooon~
I do hope that not all borders are luck-based and that there's some you do have to work to earn (but hopefully not any battle-related ones cause I don't stand a chance there).
I can't wait to see other borders, maybe ones that are gotten from various site features that are often forgotten about...

@pointycatears Yes, this is available outside of the holidays. It's a random chance when you go to Tempest via random event, not associated specifically with a holiday. I just thought it'd be fun to do after the earlier anyu items! We will have some Vesnali themed borders later as well as more outside of holiday things :)
I'm in love with this! Bet there'll be a Merana one too. I'd love one that's like... a fin that wraps around the whole thing.

Sooo cute. Can someone tell me how I even use the borders? This was something added during one of my down periods and I am so confused on how to put one on. They're adorable and I hope I get lucky enough to snag this one :heart_eyes:
