I love the story of Tama and this made me so happy to see! What a wonderful pet. She definitely deserved the win. :)
It is... TAMA-SAMA!! I read her story a while back, and I loved her legacy since. Love the inclusion of her successors on her page too!

What a heartwarming tribute pet! The overlay is really good too, I could tell it was Tama the moment I glanced at it.

AriesCongrats Jessi, on the win on my first trip to Japan I got outvoted for something I wanted to do which was visit this station because the others wanted to shop in Tokyo. I wanted to go see Tama the Calico cat as that was more interesting to me.
I absolutely loved the story, my husband and I would love to go to Japan one day and this just made us even more eager to go!!!!
That was a super adorable story, and thanks to it we'll visit the station on our trip to Japan! <3

I saw the name and the image and I knew right away. I knew about Tama being the station Master , but I didn't know about how that came to be. I'm so glad there's a pet dedicated to Tama.

@Queer - Tama's Station was literally my favorite part of my trip to Japan (even more than seeing whale sharks in Osaka)! I cried so hard when she died. It was so lovely to see the station and meet Nitama and to honor Tama at her shrine.

i started tearing up before even clicking to her profile, but this is such a truly beautiful tribute. ;u; i have a LOT of feelings about Tama, and you did such a wonderful job of honouring her and highlighting many points of interest, beautiful sights, and wonderful foods in the prefecture she saved, working hard as stationmaster and capturing the hearts of millions. <3
