Charity has run out of some of her older prizes. Fortunately for you, that means you have a better chance at getting newer items when you donate food.
Remember Fireside ends at 11:59pm on November 30.

I feel v dumb because a) I donated all of my pumpkins to fantine like a day before this switch over and b) I donated them and didn't turn them in to pies. My life is v hard.

@London Charity is pretty random. That means you can have a long string of items or a long string of no items. If you want to make sure you always get some good stuff back when you donate, make a vault folder for Charity and donate when you can fill it up. This is easier if you are doing all your quests because there is always a bunch of common food items you end up with. That way you do not have to buy a lot of food to donate. Also, she will take stuff that you might not be willing to actually feed your pets. I start saving food for Charity a couple of months before Fireside and also, due to Fantine, I keep all my pumpkins in a vault folder until it's time to give them to her.

Well, I donated 1000 items to Charity (to win the achievement) and at the end I had still missed 2 new items lol That situation was bad!

I look forward to next year, I was enjoying getting things some of my pets hadn't eaten yet from the bonfire :D But more books???? I have all the peasant dancing outfits I need and then some.

How often is Charity supposed to give out items? After donating about 15 items and getting nothing but hugs in return I gave up.

And those hoping for older items from the Bonfire, they will be back next year at the start of Fireside! Before the holiday starts, I go through and tag expensive items or ones that don't have much in circulation. So yes, you will have a chance at them again <3

Well, thank goodness for generous people donating older items and snagging a few from the Donation Center. (I kept collecting the floating Rreigns, but didn't get around to burning many yet... was still working on hoarding them in my vault. *blush*)
Charity was mostly just giving me Carpet. With all that donated food, I'm surprised those scraps didn't have food stains!

@TrippyKitten Charity still has more than just this + last year, because she had a large number of years in the current pool. I retired quite a bit of the older items, though. The bonfire is giving out only this + last year items, before it had a chance of some items outside of those two years!

Now if only there were some way to smack Charity's hands away when she comes in for a hug and giving no prize after five to ten donations.

Or am I reading the bonfire part wrong and it's actually meaning it's giving out this year's items, and that will last for the rest of bonfire?
