Here's a guide to getting some items to frag!
1. Slots - slots gives you a bunch of cheap, junk items for only 50sp a pop. I suggest keeping the slot coins because you get 15k for every coin you put into the coin machine (profit!).
2. Vending - you can vend 250 items at a regular account or 500 items with a gold. I suggest going slowly and vending/fragging in chunks because fragging a lot at once will make the site lag on your side. I always frag at Ocean Depths because you can get a very very low chance of vending a Riptide (another reason to go slowly - do not frag the Riptide if you get one!).
3. Buying from Main Shops - I like to hit up the main shops because some of them sell items for less than 500sP, which is way cheaper than buying crystals from a user. You can also get a chance to restock rare items for less than 500sP, which has a chance to give you more than one crystal. I like to hit up Spells Galore, The Bake Shop, Half Baked, Philosopher's Store, and The Carnival Stand since they all have a lot of items under 500sP. If any of these shops are the mystery box shop for the day, you can skip the 5 second delay but you'll sometimes have to cough up more money for it.
4. Battling - battle quests are a great way to get some rarer items to frag. However, you can also continue to battle beyond 10 battles to get more items (along with mage amulets and tomes). This doesn't work for cash shop opponents from 2022 or before, but it does work for normal, secret, and event (I don't know if you get the tomes and mage amulets from events but you do get the items) opponents.
5. Baking Kits & Ornament Boxes - I wouldn't suggest this unless you already have some from the bathhouse or just kicking around in your vault/shop, but if you open them up, you get a ton of items. It's great for fragging! I like to store away baking kits and ornament boxes until there's a crystal restock I like and open them all at once.
I had some items sitting around that I could frag but this is how I made up the 3k crystals I still needed. Hope it helps somebody!

I forgot I had one of those shards in my armory. Haven’t used it in years since I got amulet of neutrality and rainbow vortex lol

To add to what others have posted....
If you vend and then frag all of what you get, you can earn quite a bit of Ccystals that way. Just go through your spoils for anything you want to keep and frag the rest.
Do this in spurts of 100 vends or so, because fragging way too many items at one time causes horrible lag. (I speak from experience here) :) Good luck folks! ^__^

Lmao my crystal pockets are empty after trying to get the Edward. It's easier for me to get 95 mil than 10k crystals

I know these crystals can be hard to come by. But this works for me:
I categorize my user shop by price under 3,000 sp. I remove those items and frag them. All those items I frag are from completing quests; I never have to buy items or crystals. I know this takes time, but it slowly adds up.

@Starscream - I do all that and I still can't get the volume of some players. I fragged everything in my shop when 
was available, also praying the whole time it wouldn't go out of stock before I could get enough crystals together. It did but was wonderfully restocked so I managed to get one. I had to buy crystals from someone else who had like 300k crystals. ??? I don't have 300k items in my whole account, wardrobe included. I bow to their powers of fraggability! XD

That said, I do agree. All of the above I did when the shop had
in there a year or two back for 15k. Even adding in user help, they were very nearly gone by the time I was able to get it for a pet TC. Crazy sometimes.

lmao! "a bit pricey" - I could frag my whole account and I'd still not have enough crystals to get any of those. I don't know how some players do it. :joy:
