UGH!!! I hate it when people stretch news posts. Most of the newer bloodred pets have two different color eyes. Rah I think this rocks. <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif border=0>

<br>I think the re-draw is LOADS better!Congrats to Rah <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif border=0> I agree that the older version definately needed a re-draw.It just didn't look like a Canis before.And the teeth didn't look right.But this one is PERFECT!It actually has blood dripping off,whereas the other one sort of just looked red and black.And the eyes are gorgeous!I like the way they're two different colours.And I think it looks cute,but still being a typical bloodred at the same time.And the Bloodred-ness isn't over-the-top,it's just right!And the claws are a great addition <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif border=0>

The old didn't look like a canis and serious if you want it looking more "scary" just use your imaginations. This one looks alot better, cute or not. The artists are trying to make things better and can't cater to everyone's perception of how their pet should look. They just do their best and work hard.

If we're changing an entire species, there will be a poll. We're good about that. But the old canis wasn't a canis. The paws were wrong, the nose was shaped wrong. The teeth were wrong.

<br>I'm not trying to sound rude here, but when it's that off base, and we're trying to streamline, poll or no poll, the pet needed changing.
<br>
<br>As for the attitude, this one to me looks like it started out having a nice day, and has had one too many things go wrong. It looks rather threatening to me.

I agree with Dragon_Heart, there are many Bloodred pets that could really use some character. A lot have unique poses, while others (like the Demi) don't even have any blood on them.

:/ Even though I'm not much of a Canis fan, the old BR one was one of the better BR pets, it just needed to have it's buckteeth pulled, then it would've been perfect.
