Semi-related question … around when is the Quest-A-Thon held? I feel like it's earlier in the year and I always miss it ;A;

There are special items that you can get as a reward exclusively from Nori / Mori. Otherwise, they can reward items, sP, and QPs like other quest-givers. When they are the weekend quest, they typically hand out more sP rewards. I'm not sure if they provide additional items or not though.
They are a unique character thanks to their divided personality, being two parts of one whole individual. There is lore associated with this. As far as how this impacts quests, who you are interacting with (Nori vs Mori) is tied to the time of day. If you happen to like collecting achievements, you'd need to work on questing at different times of the day to make sure you do quests with both.
I'll have to pay attention today to the requested items to see if the name rule is still in effect, but at least traditionally they also would request items with key words tied to their character - Nori asking for Dawn, Dusk and Light and Mori asking for Blue, Dark, Purple.
Other than these things, there isn't a specific special "gimmick" necessarily. As with some of the other quests like Pete, Maleria, Saggi the goal is really just to provide interactive things on the site and a way for community members to make currency. They also help keep the economy rolling by providing item rewards, which are sold in user shops, which are requested from other users via quests, leading to a cycle of sorts.

I use the ocasion to ask, what it is Mori and Nori gimmick?
Wizard has wizard tokens, Carl a chance of a better item if he is passed out, Alexander is always one item, Quentin... well, we know Quentin
But I can't spot a singularity on this one. Someone care to enlighten me?
