The items required for this achievement can be found by fishing or visiting the Underground Springs.
Update: For those curious about the item being dual use (wearable/food), it will be added to a future achievement so you will technically be able to get two! You'll have to wait for our pirate friends.

I was lucky that my gourmand pet had already eaten all but 4 of the fish needed for the shark bait so don't need to go to the spring any more. But still have to do the fishing game to get the shark. Darn.

It is a random chance game, but the odds are incredibly low compared to some other things around the site.
The board is 400x400 pixels with a single one of those containing the treasure space. That's 1/160,000 or 0.000625% lmao, that's an insanely small chance of hitting it. No one is saying that you should win every time, but it does feel like the odds could be improved a bit...

yay i already fed all the fish so got the shrimp and fed to my pet! :D
also when it comes to the fishing game i just treat it as random. play once per day (or whenever the timer goes) and you'll eventually get the rarer items

I really feel like just because something isn't easy and you don't immediately get your way doesn't mean it's stupid and needs to be revamped lmao its just a random chance game, it's that simple.
So basically if it's just 1 random pixel you could fish for 100 years & never get the treasure or shark. Darn.

So if it's really random then there's no reason to pay any attention to his instructions & just click all around randomly. I gave up on this game years ago but really want that shark.
Could this maybe coincide with Fishing getting a revamp? I've given up with it due to needing to get one particular pixel + inconsistent feedback ("you're getting very close" = "you were nowhere near it")

I am not entirely sure, it feels like it's just sort of random every time you try. I don't think anyone has really noticed any patterns over the years or anything. Even the textual clues that the game gives you can be not very helpful, since you're looking for one single pixel it's easy to go from being kind of close to super not close in between clicks. Which can make it seem like the text is making you think that you're close until the very end when it says you were not close at all.

@Laurey yeah i totally understand from the perspective of people that collect achievements why they'd want the revamp! on the other hand i think it'd feel like a massive achievement to get the ONE pixel and that kinda makes it more fun to me lol. but i don't really mind not getting a lot of achievements so for the sake of the collectors hopefully it works out. good luck to everyone on thee pixel! <3
p.s. sorry for so many questions but in case you happen to know- is the pixel always in one certain spot or does it do any moving around? or reset when someone finds the treasure? lmao silly for asking but i'm really curious

Yeah, unfortunately this game is terrible if you're actually going for the treasure. I do hope it can be revamped at some point to have better odds. You can still play for some of the other rewards though, there are some rarer items you can get from getting pretty close to it if you're lucky enough to do that.

Oops sorry for the late response, but yeah it's the sP plus there's an achievement for it the first time you get it (haha as if there will be more than one time).
I know of at least one person who has gotten it over the years, they no longer play here though. I'm not sure how many people in total have gotten it, but with how low the odds are I feel like it can't be very many.

my bad i googled it and i see the treasure is 1mil sP. relieved that it isn't a cute item i'd never be able to own lol

I’m 4th on the fishing high score table. I fish So. Much. I still don’t have the Fishing Master achievement. It would be great if the odds were improved.
Yeah I think Fishing is another game that should have an odds change because in 14 years I didn't get the treasure even once.. that's some crazy odds.
I hate the fishing game. The guy is either a total idiot or he has no clue what he's doing. How could I be right next to it & on the next click no where near it. This is impossible. I gave up on fishing years ago because I never ever got anything good. Guess I won't be getting this prize. Darn, I like the shark.

The item itself is very nice, and it makes sense why it's a food in the context of what it is. But if it's going to be dual-use, I would hope there could be another way to obtain it besides just being limited to one per account through the achievement.
