I'm hoping everyone got it properly. In that case, there would be a lot more coreball available, and the cost of buying one wouldn't be as expensive.

No, I'm not saying that the other types of Trivia submissions won't be being used, just that I won't be deleting 24-36 perfectly good Trivias. The number sequences generally have nothing to do with math, people just read OMG! OH NO MATH! into them. I do, however, delete all non Subeta related, personal info (example: what is my pet's name?), incorrect, multiple, previously used, and subject to change prior to the end Trivia submissions.

Kitty: The answer was "No But heres a dictionary" It was found in Editorial Issue # 3.
0

Kittycatrat

What was the answer to the last one? I answered no...
0

Bekki

ha ha ha i most definitely knew this as soon as i saw it. it was in the editorials.

Event!
I'm sorry, but your answer of can i have all your sp for the trivia was incorrect.
What the heck? I thought it asked us to translate it from n00b speak. Grrr! Plus that trivia kinda broke a rule... the chatspeak. -.-;

Jenflower

To me (and about 900 other players) it was rather clear. It specifically told us what to do with the punctuation - you leave it out. It said nothing about the 'missing' punctuation - it said 'any' punctuation. That pretty much covers it. (Why would you even consider adding the missing punctuation back it anyway?) How I saw it? Step One: write the answer exactly as you see it. Step Two: remove 'any' punctuation before you submit it.
It's a shame that so many were confused and perhaps the instructions can be a little more detailed next time. "No punctuation should appear in your answer. Keep it out. Remove it. Delete it. Erase it. Be gone with it. Punctuation - No More!" That should at least help half of the confused. The other half, of course, will still be lost. This isn't a perfect system, (as we have all discovered from time to time), but I'm pretty pleased with the fact that these types of misunderstanding have been (for the most part) few and far between.

I've guessed.
0

User not found:

Okay, I'm a bit ticked. It's not exact if you change the punctuation of the answer, and yet the question could have been construed as asking that you do not ADD any punctuation that would be present if it were proper. This is ridiculous- finding the answer, but getting it wrong out of a technical fluke, and it's not the first time by far.
0

ZombieDoggie

Your answer no but heres a dictionary for the trivia was correct! Youve been given an Dark Blue Sari and 555sP. Well I have no idea with this one I have had a good try though but I think i'll have to pass on this one. Anyway good luck with the trivia everyone .

I jsut find it not creative and boring to use the same types of trivias constantly. Tons of people submit trivias and they never get used. I dont see how its a punishment to not use the what comes next trivias if its fair to the users. The same people that know how to figure them out keep getting the prizes and the ones who dont just have to sit and how a readable, understandable trivia gets released for the not so genius users o.o
0

Jeryn

LoL, I too have submitted a number of trivias, Im sure one of these days ONE will have to be picked eventually.
0

User not found:

If it's considered punishment not to have your trivias used, I suppose I'm probably an awful person. I've submitted dozens of them and never had a single one used.
0

DebiLee

There were over three dozen next number/next letter Trivias submitted; if they're good they WILL be being used. Should we punish the people who submitted them by not using them just because some people don't like them (and the majority of the cheat sites can't figure them out)? No. On a happier note, there were 905 Saris won.
0

User not found:

Im not one to complain a lot but these trivias are pure crap. They are boring and ALL THE SAME. These what come next trivias are getting really old and boring and the same people keep getting them right. Also the trivias that are cryptic as hell to the point you have no idea what its saying unless you have an IQ over 150.
0

User not found:

Well, looks like the whole 'no more stupid number trivias' thing was a fluke
0

kyralie

debilee, you're an angel for telling us this information. such as how many people won, and for sure if it's subeta related. It really helps.
0

User not found:

3121 users have tried this trivia.
Wow. This one is going on for ages.
0

Lypsyl

Usually around 1500, but that's a guideline, not a hard and fast rule. Also depends, I think, on how many of the items they want in circulation.
0

Lypsyl

You're not dumb if you can't find the answer, and the answer of the trivia isn't "so easy" - in most cases the ones who say its easy have spent so much time checking out the site for older trivias, that they may remember seeing something and so know where to look. And if you can't find it, its just because you haven't spent as much time looking around the site.
0

User not found:

Over 3000 people have answered... what's the cutoff before it switches questions? ^^
0

DebiLee

335 got the plushie one correct.
0

Spirafall

You have got to be kidding me...is that some kind of trick trivia question? What answer would give me the sari? I want the sari...if I say no, would I not get it? XD My brain is absolutely hurting.
0

Jenflower

Debilee told us this morning that the automated system doesn't accept punctuation. I think it actually can't read the periods, exclamation marks, commas, etc. in our answers. That is why there can't be any punctuation in the answer. So, no...punctuation should not be in your answer. As for whether we leave the space where we removed the punctuation - that was never clarified (as far as I know). Like kyralie, I also left no space when I removed the punctuation.
0

PinkSylvie

becketttj It has nothing to do with being dumb, all of these trivia are difficult. But the more we answer, the more chances we have to find the answer to the next one, because once you search all of the site several times, you have more chance to remember where you saw something related to the current trivia.

example, there was two number trivia last week, for the first one, I searched everywhere I could think of that had number, well, for the second one, I knew exactly where to look since I already saw the answer while searching for the first one.
0

kyralie

I know theres gonna be a lot of people, and are already, complaining that they left in the punctuation, but it was clearly stated in the question not to have any punctuation. Now, I myself am confused on whether or not to leave the space where the punctuation was, as are a couple other people. I don't think thats the case though, so I left it out.
0

Ritual

I don't understand the question, so I just took a wild guess... the trivia sure are hard these days
0

User not found:

wow... almost 3000 people :X *waits for the new trivia*
0

User not found:

I.....really don't get this one. xD;
0

User not found:

So, did we ever get a clarification on whether to really leave it exactly as is, or take out ALL punctuation?
0

becketttj

I don't know how you people can get these week after week... I mean I try so hard every week to get one and I've only been able to do 6 in like, the past year... it's dumb... or maybe it's me... I'm dumb.
0

Bagheera23608

I answered earlier today and now, I am just certain it wasn't right...still don't know the right answer but pretty sure I ish wrong.
0

orbital

That was easy! ^^
0

User not found:

hmmm ... exact, and leave out punctuation. this is an oxymoron, as to be exact would include some punctuation, but the answer is missing punctuation itself. oh well ... i went with "exact", and am hoping it's right!
0

Secret

'To me, the "leave out any punctuation" part was to clarify/add to/modify the first instruction of "exact."' - JenFlower

I would be inclined to agree with you except for the fact that there is an error with the punctuation in the answer itself. So, I took that to mean type it exactly as it is shown, don't correct the punctuation error. My loss I guess... and unfortunately also many others.
0

Jenflower

Sorry, iamreal - there have been more than a few trivias where I felt exactly like that! I love your HA, by the way, it makes me want to visit a zoo, for some reason.
0

User not found:

How do you people understand these things? I searched and i didn't find an item, i don't even understand what I'm supposed to be answering, you call this EASY? I call it Impossible!
0

Jenflower

To me, the "leave out any punctuation" part was to clarify/add to/modify the first instruction of "exact." The way I see it, "leave out any punctuation" definitely means to not have any punctuation in your answer. While I was confused as to what I was supposed to do with the "left out" punctuation (leave a space in its place or not), I definitely had no question as to whether punctuation belonged in the answer or not. It was right there in the instructions. Leave it out.
0

Jenflower

jobo: Keep the original spaces. A space is not punctuation and it should stay with the answer to make it 'exact', per the instructions.
On this same topic (and perhaps this is what you meant)....my problem this morning was whether we leave the space where the punctuation once stood. For example: do I remove the punctuation with the delete key (thereby moving the rest of the answer to the left to replace the deleted punctuation's location) or do I remove the punctuation as though I were using an eraser (thereby preserving the space where the punctuation originated.)
To me...if I were to keep the answer "Exact", but "leaving out any punctuation", I should do it the second way. But, I chose to answer the first way...I hope I was right. Talk about overthinking it!
0

User not found:

I hope I've got it right DX It'd be really sad if I got it wrong I mean seriously I'd have to be a complete loser to get this one wron D8 T^T

Obviously

I'm totally braindead today. ;o;
0

Princess_Ashura

if I got this wrong, I'll cry...I think I went right to it practically...XP
0

DJ

Haha, sadly I knew this as soon as I saw it xD
0

Ran

1852 users have tried this trivia.
----- OMG o_O"
0

Lor

I hope everyone got it right. That way there'd be a lot more in circulation, and the price wouldn't be so high for one.
0

kyralie

I hope this ends early because of all the people who have answered it. =x
0

ChaosRocket

Apparently Debbie posted earlier and said that the trivia actually won't accept any punctuation at all- no commas, periods, hyphens, anything. So you have to take it all out.
0

Secret

I'm confused. Does this mean not to FIX the missing punctuation or does this mean to take out all the punctuation that it has?
0

Kalnu

I just answered the first thing that came to my head...xD
But that would be waaay too easy...XD Ohwell
0

Bagheera23608

lol - ok. It's not a number sequence but I still don't trust it.....
0

User not found:

I'm just glad they finally threw us a bone and gave an easy question ^^;
0

Gaytastic_545

I am pretty sure that I got this correct. The only one I have ever gotten correct was the Jerry Lewis one.

I hope I was correct with my answer!
0

Cilan

am i the only one that cant get this trivia? *hits self* i cant believe 1.6k people answer already xD is it THAT easy? xP
0

BloodlustMagician

-Rolls- Oh I found it. That's just funny. -giggle- I do hope I put in the right thing though.
0

honey_bear

ah, good way to start my birthday. With a question that, while I understand the question, I have no idea what answer is correct. Oh well. Good luck to everyone else.
0

DaringSpirit

Having woken up, I have found the answer Also, last trivia? I was going through the games section and gave up just before I got to Mystic Spindles. Perseverance is the key...lol
0

User not found:

XD lol wow Im having a blonde moment, I cant think of it and yet XD it must be way easy.
0

User not found:

Jen I know the feeling.. that's my whole way of thinking on this one too.. I agree the format is kind of confusing...
Matt what you said makes sense too ..... *is so confused right now but already hit summit answer* ... I'm sure if not a lot of people get it right Debi will consider using the prize again. er I hope so anyways.
0

Menegroth

I don't see why you would, it just says to remove it having two spaces wouldn't make much sense to me, too confusing and hardly anyone would get it right.
0

User not found:

Thanks Matt .. But after reading comments someone brought up a good question.. Which was .. when we remove the punctuation, do we leave the space(s) where the punctuation was? .... that's they only thing making me wonder if I got it right or not ..as I already clicked summit..
0

User not found:

Event!
Your answer 160 for the trivia was correct! Youve been given an Lovely Lady Lisette Plushie and 111sP[/qoute] .. Debi how many got it right?? ..... Ok this new one I know right where to find although I don't exactaly understand what it's asking for due to the format.
0

DebiLee

It was the lengths of the Mystic Spindles games.
0

[qoute]
Could someone please tell me how the answer of the last trivia was achieved??It was in the Mystic Spindles game
0

Jenflower

Pretty prize! Hmmm, silly question maybe...when we remove the punctuation, do we leave the space(s) where the punctuation was? That is the only problem I am having with the format.
0

Cheech

HAHA. xD Omg. *answers*

Could someone please tell me how the answer of the last trivia was achieved???

0

Lol, the first trivia i got in like... 5 seconds. Now i hope the format is correct.
0

Myuu

... lol????
0

User not found:

I really hope my answer was correct. I'm one of those people who want a complete Sari set. XD
0

DebiLee

I'd be tempted... if I could actually see the answers. XD There should hopefully be a lot of winners this time; I tried to make this one a bit easier as a lot of people will want the complete set of all four saris (this is the last of them).
0

Corvinus

Woot, one that I was finally able to get.

0

PEPPER_720

Does space, as in you know space ..spacebar thinger count as punctuation? D;
0

Squishy

um.. o.o.. i don't understand what the question is.. *scratchhead* what shall we do?xD write that right, or search anything or..*confused*..*trytofindanything*
0

Gaytastic_545

wow, I think I may have finally gotten one correct. I just dont want to be cocky about it because than I might end up regretting it.
*crosses fingers*
0

Dracona

OMG OMG OMG I found it! *fingers crossed she's right and is properly punctuation-less*
0

Moonsyne

.... now if only we could have a trivia that would give out a wonderland watch prize ....
0

Halloween_133

A question I've been wanting to ask Debi for some time: Are you ever tempted when seeing those confident people brag about what they're going to do with the item once they've won to go look at their answer and have a private giggle at them if they're wrong? XD
0

Tekkengal

Nice trivia. I love the prize as well. I'm sad that I missed out on the plushie. I managed to buy one though

0

Poet

Debi, how many Lovely Lady Lisette Plushies were won?
0

User not found:

Yeah! Found it. ^^
0

azazel

Yay! A beautiful sari. I'm pretty sure I got this one right. =)
0

DebiLee

Yes, that's what it means; the Trivia program will only accept letters and numbers in the answer, so remove any punctuation.
0

Xuanmeng

*scrolls down less rapidly* Oh. All of it.
0

Xuanmeng

I'm really confused. Does that mean leave out any punctuation that WAS included in the original source? As in, no punctuation whatsoever at all in the answer?
0

varicolored

I found it, and I hope I get it right. This is the best sari out of all of them. I need to get a Purple Sari to complete my set. XD
0

missatralissa

THE BLUE SARI!!! omg i'm so happy that i know this one! (found it when looking for the last one!) yay this just made my night! i hope i get the format right!

I love the saris and the blue one is awesome!
0

DebiLee

I think that this one is my personal favorite of the saris.
0

Evy

Rofl at the current trivia. I knew the answer as soon as I saw it!
0

DebiLee

Yes, periods, commas, question marks, quotation marks, hyphens, etc.; it won't accept those in the answer... as we've oh so painfully learned... XD
0

Ginger

I looked at the high scores for that game but not the game itself *lol* *head desk* this one I know and I love the prize!
