Unbeknownst to most Subetans, there is a small tribe on one of Subeta's smaller islands that believes in sacrificing a small malticorn to ward off evil spirits and other nasties, like bloodred paralixes. This seems to be a sacrifice gone very, very wrong.

About the whiskers-

As for the Paralix--it's delightfully feral-looking, and the fact that it's looking straight ahead adds to the effect quite a bit.

You know, that Paralix's whiskers that have been fixed... I might sound crazy, but this curl in the space between legs makes it look totally different. A hell lot better.
