The pose makes sense if they're tired of the cold. Like as if a cat has just woken up from a sleep it didn't want to...

When I first saw it, I thought it was hurt. Not my cup of tea really, but if most of the people like it, I see no real reason to change it. It's quality that counts, and this definitely has that for sure. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" />

Despite some of the apparently less intelligent of subeta, popping out of the woodwork to diss this, I really like it. If some people stopped to think, they'd realize that anything that covered in ice would be a bit slow-moving, it's metabolism would have slowed down. The pose makes perfect sense, people. And no, it's not dead. Good lord.

The fact that it looks as if the body parts are moving and it has e.xpression etc makes you think it looks dead?

The way I see it its wings are frozen so it's grounded. I wouldn't be too happy either. And really, none of the glacier pets look happy so there's nothing out of the ordinary here. I really like it <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" />

Miss-clicks are murdering me today.
I'd lower the body a bit more, make the head...I dunno, I'd change the head and put the front feet in a different position, and totally re-do the wing. And make him look less pissed.
Other than that, it's nice work, nice color use. I like how bright blue the eyes are, and the ears and neck are pretty.

I must agree with some of the folks' comments: though the artwork is great, this pet looks like its broken it's wing or paw or something and is now freezing to death/dying. Normally I love Glacier pets, but I think I'll opt out on this one.
