Sorry, but I just don't like it. Seems a bit clunky and stuck together to me (i.e. head + forequarters + hindquarters + lumpy tail = creature ill-at-ease in its own body). And is it just me or does it seem like it's rocked back on its heels?
But others are very happy with it, so....

I am not too fond of this. Did it become part bird? Seems to almost have a beak. It looks fantastic compared to the old one, drawn very well, but still is lacking.

i preferred the old one..... nuclear looks nice colour wise but the old one still looks better. Sorry artists.
Eh, I am not crazy about it.. the ears are too long.. it looks too donkey-ish for me. And something about the face.. the cheeks are too chubby or something.. hopefully it will grow on me. If not, I will either have two for adoption or will have to change them into something else. sigh I wish I would have saved a pic of the original one before they changed. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />

The back legs still look wonky to me but it can't be helped anymore. I think the face is really cute though. Definitely much better than the other revamp attempts <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />.
Well, it looks like I'm the only dissenter in this new Hikei Love-Fest. I'm sorry artists, but the truth is this poor creature is still awkward looking - just like the last three versions of it given a vote - and all its charm and character is gone. The original art may have been dated, but at least it was aesthetically pleasing. You settled for something mediocre just to say the drawing has been updated. I can't applaud you for it.
I'm grateful that the revamp only affected one of my three Hikei's. So far. Now I'll have to live in fear of re-draws that affect the other colors.

I think this is an AMAZING revamp! It's a wonderful improvement on the old one, hundreds of times better IMO. The artist couldn't have done anything better, it's beautiful!
