Personally I like the darker hydrus look on the antlephore although I agree the face is a little bit too plain.
Now THIS is the art quality I expect and love. It's fantastic! I love how his wings are now fins. The bubble patterns on it's head and the detail of the beak and eyes are just amazing.
I like how the fin flops over on the antlephores head. Nice pose too! The color is a little dull, but it's still a big success.

They're both very nice - maybe add a few more makrings to the lower half of the Antlephores legs and on it's face maybe?
The mallarchie looks SPLENDID! Particularly the razory bill and the feet. However.. the antlephore looks too plain. It's not bad, it just seems a bit bland in comparison to a lot of the hydrus pets.

That Antlephore should have these HUGE, bitchin-black antlers and perhaps some spikes going down its back. Why are all the hydrus getting retarded [in appearance] lately?

i loveeee the hydrus antlephore! the only thing is it looks...washed out. i think a bit more golden-brown. Too muddy looking.

Wow. The first Mallarchy that really caught my eye! Bravo! The Antlephore looks cool, too, but its colours are SO bleak in comparison to its neighbor <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> Even to other Hydruses, I think. It's just not this shade of brown. Looks more... muddy. xD But I love its legs and the overall pose, very graceful.
Yay, the antlephore looks awesome. I actually love the fact that it's simpler and plainer than the other hydrus pets, which apparently is being taken as a bad thing by some users O_o Kudos!

When I first looked at the Antlephore I thought the Marsh color got an update for some reason. After I looked closer I saw the fins and realized its Hydrus. And now that I know that, its too plain looking compared to other Hydrus pets.

These are awesome! I love them both and I tend to not care for Mallarchys. Though is it just me or does the Antlephore look a little dark? Eh, might be because it's next to the lighter Mallarchy.

I adore the Antlephore.
Though not liking the mallarchie so much, I don't really like how the wings look bat like. I think they could have stayed duck like, since ducks can go into the water in the first place. And the tail looks a little out of place, it looks like an experiment gone wrong. Though the coloring on both of them is very nice, and I love both their eyes.

I think the Hydrus are now my favorite species color here! Wonderful job with these. I just wish the eyes of the Antlephore, had more shininess to them. If only my antlephore wasn't already chibi. lol
