Meh, I like Donner better than Donder. It just flows off the tongue better I guess, lol. But since Donder was the original name, I guess I can't complain. Anyways, adorable plushies. Gotta love those reindeer. :3

Donder is the original name. It was Thunder and lightning, Donder and Blitzen. Blitzen is German for lightning and in German thunder is Donner, but the original auther had the (Dutch?) thunder, Donder.

Actually- that's incorrect.
It was originally Dunder and Blixem. The dutch words for Thunder and Lightning.
It was later changed to Dunder and Blixen (to rhyme better with Vixen), then to Donder and Blixen, and finally, "modern publishers" have created Donner and Blitzen. They formed from Dutch into German. X3
