i rarely read lengthy pet stories but for some reason this one caught my eye and i really enjoyed it! congrats <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
If you see your pet as a character, then what is the difference between character based & pet based? Anything you collect will tell a story for the pet as well as form the character of the pet... I don't see where there would be a clear line drawn between the two.

Just a random side note of the pet spotlights all together:
It's nice to see a variety of pets, but I've noticed lately that a lot of spotlight winners are more character-focused than pet-focused. I kind of would like to see the spotlight focus more on subeta pets and less on just characters that have not much to do with the actual pet/subeta. Though there's nothing wrong with a variety of winners.
