Peka Park Food Fest!
Peka Park Food Fest has rolled in with the summer sun and is ready to feed you up good!
- Visit Peka Park all week (until 11:59PM on July 2nd) to enjoy both old and new food truck favorites (with a few secret menu items along the way).
- Take part in the community cake mix where you never know what might come out of the batter, it surely couldn’t be an actual cake!
- Lastly, we have the entries up for the Great Subetan Bake-Off! Look through the designs and vote for what you want to see come out on top!
We’re as hungry as an archan now, how about you?

@Chocolate and @humorless, thank you so much!! I got all the secret items except for the one that requires that Eddie Bell hat that I can't get. It's on my wishlist anyway, but it's not for sale.

I really really like the food truck festival idea (also it makes me very hungry). I have a couple suggestions for next time that I'll eventually post on the actual suggestions thread probably one day:
1. make it so the WL box appears around the items when you click on them - it was a pain in the butt to go back and forth through my wishlist on one tab and the trucks on another trying to make sure I didn't double-purchase things (my memory is crap, I know I'm not alone)
2. let us all get the bonus items from the trucks again - I don't think it would damage the value/market too much (I sold mine off so cheaply the first time around, back before I was feeding my pet)

Okay, I've loaded my HA up with items that were listed, but the secret items aren't showing up. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm definitely all for achievements for eating, wearing, and reading. I too thought that if they wanted to do a multi tier cake batter achievement that they should've released it already. But that being said, they might've still been counting our donations.
Just give us an achievement for participation and not one for donating 1k or something terrible.

Ack same, did a calculation and must've thrown 500-600 items in there in the first two hours (spent 600k spamming user shops out of 1k food items). If they do add an achievement regarding the giant bowl, I hope it's along the lines of the quest week contribution requirement x').

@Chocolate I gathered that the achievements would be more for having the clothes in your wardrobe, or for feeding the food truck foods to your pet or something. If there were going to be achievements for throwing things into the bowl, it would have made more sense to release those at the start. Since I've already gotten what I need from the food bowl, I'm not inclined to be throwing more things in there and adding achievements for it now would be dumb IMO.

A few possible rule benders/breakers still slipped through, but overall it looks like staff pruned quite well this time (compared to say, Oatmeal). I'm sure it helped that there were probably a lot fewer entries, but still, nice work.

Hey there, I'm having an issue with getting the secret menu item from Sweet Stuffed?
So I've managed to get all the other secret menu items except for the one from Sweet Stuffed - I'm wearing an Eddie Bell Sophistikiwi Shirt (which is from one of the oldest Eddie Bell collections I think?) but I'm not getting a link at the bottom. Anyone else having an issue like this? Do we know which Eddie Bell items do/don't work?

I forgot there was an actual theme to the bake-off and lost my mind seeing all the roller skates and burgers, like WHA T IS GOING ON HERE

Oh my gosh I'm so excited! The first Peka-Boo happened the year I joined and was the first really big Subeta event I took part in. I'm so happy it's made a return!!

Since no one has really posted useful links or the actual names of secret items, I'll do so here in a complete post. Full spoilers below for both old and new items!

Also for anybody having trouble these are the items that worked for me for the food trucks:

@Twisted_Pretzel No problem! At least we have a whole week for this, so that should be plenty of time to get everything if you remember to buy every hour whenever you can. Also the wait time is for each individual food truck, so you could buy one item from each truck every hour.
@Twisted_Pretzel Viewing the item isn't the same as buying the item, and there's a 45 minute wait time for gold account users or a 60 minute wait time for regular users. It would take almost the whole day to buy everything from the new trucks.
Are the old secret items meant to work again? I tried whatever I did last Peka-boo and it didn't work for me :(
Strange, I bought one of every item at each food truck, they are not in my inventory- did my pet auto eat them or something?

I mean, I'm pretty sure that dark matter stuffed pizzacrust breadsticks would be a real hit. They'd be such a portable way to enjoy some pizza on-the-go too~ haha.

Remember that the truck is like three~ years old (the veggie tree one), so use older fruits for it to work!
Not getting the secret item from the long named food truck (too tired to get the name sorry)... which tree fruit actually works?

the Champurrado is very accurate too, it has very nice art. Although, "Taquitos" aren't called that, they're called Flautas :P

@Luck You could just click on the URL and erase the 'item=[####]' part (everything after the question mark) and that should take you to the right page.

Can there be better functionality for the giant food bowl? I buy an item, toss it in, then if I want to get another item to throw in, I try refreshing the page and it says I don't have that item because it's still thinking about the previous item... So I click back to last page and it takes me to the main food bowl page where it shows me the old item again. So after you throw one item in, can there be a back button to go back to the main food bowl page? There's only one to peka park which is a bit annoying.

The food trucks aren't working for me at all. I can go to them and see the chalk board, but clicking on the items does nothing. It's just the board and blank space...
