For as long as he could remember, he had lived here, in the room, dusty and dark. Graye had become an expert of playing by himself, with everyday becoming new adventure for him and his toys.

Imaginary friends aside, there was never any visitors. Although sometimes, he could hear voices below him, talking, singing, yelling and his mind would be filled with faint images of a women with warm eyes and a soft voice and a man with dark curly hair. Occasionally he would speak back, just in case someone down there could hear him too. He didn't quite know how to reach them, considering anytime he tried the handle to the door, it seemed to slip right through his fingers.

He had become rather lonely up there, and sometimes he wondered how exactly he had ended up here all alone....
