Windborn is a tribute to my Dad who has passed away (3-22-11). Kites were not his hobby or anything, but he loved to build things with his hands, and he also loved to fly. My sister and I have quite the little kite collection because of him, as well. You see, if he saw something he thought we would like, chances are it would be waiting for us when we got home from school/college. It just so happened whenever that happened, it was probably a dragon kite xP He was always thinking about others. So with all that, I decided to pay a tribute to him through this Rreign Kite, and the little Hummer minion. A love of flight, working with wood, and mechanics. Dad will forever be missed, but I know he flies up above with wings of his very own.
