"Why can't robots be children too?" This was what Calvin Blackmoon was most likely thinking when he created the line of Chibi-styled Cadogres and Endeavors. His war with Subeta had temporarily ended, and he was running low on funds, so he began releasing alternative models of them for money. It was then he decided that since chibis would not fare well in battle, he gave them childish personalities and curiosity, allowing them to be their own beings rather than soldiers.

Aporo is one of the chibi cadogres, which Delphinium Chronophage adopted due to her love of robotics and Aporo's adorable appearance. However, there was a flaw in his creation... he still possessed the original programming that made him desire carnage and war, as well as an undying loyalty to Blackmoon, which conflicted with his childlike programming. He had none of the equipment except for his slightly dulled claws to battle with, and his appearance, for lack of better words, was pathetic in his eyes.

He trained when he can on his private time, but never grew stronger as he wasn't allowed into the training gym, and his methods didn't help much, and he studied excessively until he was wise and knowledgeable, and even used his programming flaw to keep an access to the Blackmoon data servers for tactics and information, so that he would be fully prepared when he was finally allowed to train or access technology to help him. Unfortunately, the jobs would only rank his official education as intelligence, not his personal studies... So as ready as he was, he was going nowhere.

Since the other pets treated him as a child due to his constant battle fantasies and childish attitude, he grew a disdain for his own family and was mostly isolated, even though Delphinium gave him as much of her love as she could as his 'mother'. He had a plan... he saw that potions could change your form, and those chibi would usually regain their adult body as a result of the change. He admired the colorful yet majestic form of Blacklight pets, so he strived to try and get it... Delphinium refused to get him one, preferring his adorable stature, and he believed that the others would simply laugh and tease him for his desire, so he began sabotaging quests to steal the prizes and earn up money on his own... This only lowered the others' opinions of him, as he was now acting like a complete brat in their eyes, stealing things and screwing with their goals.

Eventually, he finally earned enough, and bought a Blacklight potion while the others were out. Gleeful, he immediately applied to himself, excited he would finally gain the form he desired... he could feel the power of the spectrum fill him, his steel darkening, a drape of colors emanating from him... he was now Blacklight. However, there was something wrong, as his view didn't change, and he felt none of the pain or oddness that should have come with transformation. He looked down and saw what was wrong, horrified and distraught...

He did change into a blacklight pet, but he was still his small, cute self.
