Javier Emilio Gonzaga Martinez

The young man grew in an orphanage, and never knew the reality of "family", except for what he was told it was. But unlike most children with the same fate, Javier enjoyed his youth.
He was educated -precariously, indeed- in a institution almost totally funded by philanthropists of the city. The establishment granted them food, education and lodging, along with severe religious habits. But Javier's fate lead him to military service, from his fifteenth birthday to his twentieth.

But to find a job, he had to flee from the economic and social crisis of his home country to an allied one. There, he couldn't rely on his intelligence (since he was taught since an early age that he had none, even though many, through the years, proved it otherwise when Javier gave them the chance), his education and neither in his monetary stability, which was nonexistent.

Javier now owns the Antiquary he once shared with Valentina, seeing she is now dedicated into being a full-time mother and wife. Truth is, he never imagined her loving that life, but apparently the latino finds it relaxing, for once, to be calm and predict easily what would happen in the next day. Javier supported her choice and still does, but now finds himself troubled in the look for new staff.

Javier is now happily engaged to a woman who he still thinks he doesn't deserve, and sometimes finds it difficult to believe it's true. He now learned to ignore what the townsfolk say about how different they are, and how they weren't meant to each other, how their realities were opposites. The truth is that he would have never endured as much for someone he wouldn't love, and what he feels for Tiffany is so strong that will, in the future, make him endure a trench-based war and come home alive and safe, to the arms of the woman he loves and those who'll be their children then.
