Adel is a feared and brutal sorceress who once ruled over a political power known as Esthar, as well as Esthar city. She was merciless during her tyrannical reign and subjected both Estharians and outsiders alike to her cruel and horrendous acts.

She first came to power during the time between the destruction of the Centra Empire (a once flourishing civilization) and the beginning of a terrible battle known as the 'Sorceress War'. It is not known how Adel came to be the ruler of Esthar, yet it is speculated that she 'earned' her crown through brute force and backstabbing. She initially worked both beneath and alongside the previous head of Esthar, so it is possible that she forcefully took his place- either through assassination or murder by her own hands.
