Rollo is the older brother to King Ragnar Lothbrok and hails from Kattegat, Scandinavia.

A fearsome warrior with an axe and an impulsive streak, though Rollo is wrought with internal struggles. He's jealous of Ragnar and Lagertha and wishes she had chosen him instead of Ragnar and makes no effort to hide his feelings.Ragnar has always promised Rollo that they would be equals, but time and time again Rollo feels he is not and so betrays Ragnar to his enemies - how long will this go on?
