The easiest way to describe Brevis would be as a mystery wrapped in an enigma - no one really understands who she truly is. She is known for wearing and shedding masks with a fluid ease that speaks of many years of practice, and will adjust her demeanor depending on who she's with. If someone responds better to her as a demure maiden or a daring temptress, then that is who she becomes. Very few have seen behind her masks and lived to tell the tale.

But those who do tell tales of a woman whose moods ebb and flow like the tides, and a fickle nature that can lead to her turning on you just as quickly as she befriended you. It is hard for her to trust, and she is of the opinion that it would be better for her to betray you before you get the chance to do the same. She sees the world in shades of grey, where morality is never certain and anyone is capable of turning on her at a moment's notice. In many ways this outlook has caused more pain than it has prevented, but she is hard pressed to abandon it.

She counts no one as a true friend, and keeps her given name a secret meant to go with her to the grave. Those she calls acquaintances more often than not get a pseudonym, her favorite being Lilith - a mythical demon that very little is known about. The name is intended almost as a warning that she cannot ever be fully trusted, but few know enough about it to be able to heed it. And that's just the way she likes it.



Skills: Brevis is a virtual master of stealth and espionage, capable of blending into almost any setting she could find herself in. And when blending in doesn't work for her, she is perfectly capable of vanishing entirely. Stealth is just one skill in her arsenal, along with the ability to pick most locks and a silver tongue that will have many of her targets eating out of the palm of her hand. Adding this to her impressive accuracy with daggers leaves her a rather deadly foe, and one who will just as quickly kill you as she would save your life.
