Gatekeeper of the Celestial Worlds.

"This world is not my home, I'm just a-passing through.
"My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue!
"The Angels beckon me, through Heavens Open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore"
A candle burns away
The ashes full of lies
I gave my soul to you
You cut me from behind

Nowhere to run and nowhere to hide
You're scared of the truth, I'm tired of the lies
Cause who I am
Is where you want to be

Don't act like an angel
You've fallen again
You're no superhero
I've found in the end

So lie to me once again
And tell me everything will be alright
Lie to me once again
And ask yourself before we say good bye
Well good bye
Was it worth it in the end?

You said you were there for me
You wouldn't let me fall
All the times I shared with you
Were you even there at all?

Nowhere to run and nowhere to hide
You're scared of the truth, I'm tired of the lies
Cause who I am
Is where you want to be

Don't act like an angel
You've fallen again
You're no superhero
I've found in the end

So lie to me once again
And tell me everything will be alright
Lie to me once again
And ask yourself before we say good bye
Well good bye
Was it worth it in the end?

Why'd you have to up and run away
A million miles away
I want to close my eyes and make believe
That I never found you

Just when I put my gaurd away
It's the same old story
You left me broken and betrayed
It's the same old story

My story

I'd trained all my life to be a Gatekeeper of the Celestial world. It was my dream. I knew of the rules, the rules of purity and innocence. I kept them, I kept them very well. When I was young my mother and father read me legends and lore of the brave gatekeepers of our world. I'd look up with my big yellow eyes in awe. I often felt my mothers paw gently closing my lower jaw. I'd look up at her and she'd have the purest smile on her face. I'd smile back of course. I loved those old stories, they were my life.
At about the age of 10 I blacked out. I was studying the latest gatekeeper lore and tips to strengthening myself mentally. There was a phrase, telling me to close my eyes, empty my mind, and gain control of my power. Next thing I knew, I woke up, blood splattered my home. My parents, both dead.
I was ten... I was scared, I cried, a lot. What happened? Parents don't just die, atleast not in this horrible way. The elder came to my home that night, I had crawled into a corner and stayed there all night long. I clung to my knees and whimpered. Darkness surrounded me. An evil aura tugged at me. An evil grin, entering my mind. The elder gasped and yelled for help. A few angels appeared before me. There light shining so bright it chased the aura away, but they deemed me an abomination. They knew of my dream to enter the gatekeeper world, and whispered under their breathes that I'd never make it.
I tried with my might to prove them wrong, but when I tried to access my power again, the lasirus family that had took me in, calling the elder and tired old man, and saying I would and could never do such a thing, were killed...
After that I had no one to protect me from the elder and the angel council. Yet I still tried my hardest to prove that I could become a gatekeeper.
"Why would we let you become one? You could easily turn on one of your own gatekeepers and kill them!" One of the council members yelled.
The judge spoke, "Vestan, silence! Serafu, I apologize deeply, but unless you become purified, you have no chance of becoming a gatekeeper. And even then, it's not likely."
"Then purify me!" I squeaked in my 12 year old voice, tears starting to steam down my cheeks.
"It's not that..." the judge started.
"JUST GET IT OUT OF ME!" I screamed and started to sob.
Zorek, take this child and start the ritual."
Sir, that's not wise." Zorek spoke.
"Just DO it!" he glared back.
"Yes sir..." the angel hesitated and walked towards me, lifting me off the floor and carrying me away...
