"mom, i know you care about me, but please! i can take care of my peach shop on my own," peachy said to her mother, dashing red. "alright, my little filly, i understand you're old enough to handle the peach shop on your own now," dashing red sighed. "just.. let me know if you need anything, okay?" she flapped her snow white wings and was soon gone.

peachy returned inside, and sat down in front of the cash register. her shop was currently fully stocked, from just plain peaches to peach lip gloss. she observed her flank that held her brand new cutie mark, three peaches. of course she was glad that she finally got her cutie mark, but she couldn't help feeling a bit down at the fact she had a very uncreative cutie mark. it was just three peaches, not something detailed and cool like a peach pie, peach cobbler or a peach sundae.

peachy quit staring at her cutie mark to watch a customer walk in. it was zepherion. she thought that he wanted to buy a little something before the shop closed for the day. he set down a sack of peaches and tossed 5 bits on the counter. "thanks for your purchase, zepher," peachy said, watching zepher walk out.

"finally closing time, business has been so slow here lately..." peachy said under her breath, flipping the sign on the front door from "open" to "closed". she walked outside to watch the sunset and breathe fresh air. she sat a few feet away from the shop, and soon enough a teal colt walked up and sat by her. "hello," he said to her. "you run this shop, yes?"

"yeah, we just closed though. sorry," peachy turned to the colt.

"i know. but i've seen a lot of posters advertising your shop with pictures of you on them. i must say, you are quite a sight for sore eyes," he said with a smile. "my name is glitch, and you're peachy pie, no?"

"heh, yeah that's me. you don't want to have romantic interest in me, though, i'm a huge bitch when you get to know me."
